Individuals were selected from a non-probabilistic convenience sampling, obtaining a sample of 504 participants from a university in the city of Ambato-Ecuador. The results indicate a high reliability index for the factors (Cronbach's alpha between .71 and .91), the original structure could not be verified in the confirmatory factor analysis and finally it was found that there were no statistically significant differences in EI between the mean scores of men (M=130) and women (M=129).Item Rasgos de personalidad y su relación con el consumo de tabaco en estudiantes universitarios(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2023-04-20) Galarza Paredes, Andrés Sebastián; Tobar Viera, Andrea SusanaTobacco consumption is one of the fastest growing problems worldwide, excessive intake of this product causes health problems such as cancer, heart disease, lung disease, among others.
