Anxiety generates excessive and persistent worries, classified as the second most disabling mental disorder in American countries. For this reason, health professionals must participate in educational, preventive and therapeutic interventions. Methodology: A systematic bibliographic review of articles with the criteria (PRISMA) was carried out through a search in health science databases: Pbmed, Scielo y Elsevier. Results: Review tables were made divided by subtopics: 1) Articles were reviewed in relation to prenatal anxiety, 2) Factors associated with prenatal anxiety and 3) Nursing role in prenatal anxiety. Discussion: The articles reviewed on the risk factors for prenatal anxiety agree that low social/family support, domestic violence, low economic income, as well as a history of psychological disorders give rise to psychological and emotional health problems of the pregnant woman. Which evidenced the need to educate the pregnant patient to clarify doubts throughout the pregnancy. Conclusion: Nursing, being the staff that has the first contact with the patient, has to participate as an educator in the controls that the mother undergoes in the different health entities in order to identify alterations in both physical and mental health.Item Protocolo de intervención prenatal intercultural para el club de madres embarazadas del Centro de Salud tipo B Salasaka(Universdidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Centro de posgrados, 2021-09-01) Masaquiza Masaquiza, Francisco Israel; Flores Santy, Lucía Fernanda Mg.he present project seeks to establish whether the ignorance of prenatal care with an intercultural approach affects the pregnancy of the women of the study group, to carry out the research the general objective is elaborated; To design an intercultural prenatal intervention protocol for the club of pregnant mothers of the Type B Health Center of Pueblo Salasaka, working on three specific objectives that are; Analyze prenatal care protocols from the intercultural perspective in the same way Evaluate the level of knowledge of prenatal development as well as Design an intercultural prenatal intervention protocol for the club of pregnant mothers of the Salasaka Type B Health Center, the protocol at an educational level will include Theoretical and practical activities in six sessions, to fulfill the objective, a bibliographic review is used in search of official documents of the Ministry of Health that incorporate the control of pregnancy taking into account the customs and culture of pregnant women, the methodology used is quantitative prospective analytical, quasi-experimental or intervention based on statistical analyzes that evaluate the development of variables without altering the environmental conditions of pregnant women, the intervention protocol uses theoretical and practical activities.
