Mg.The present Investigation was carried out in four educational units of the Province of Tungurahua (Educational Unit of the Millennium Intercultural Bilingual “Pueblo Kisapincha”, Educational Unit of the Millennium Bilingual Intercultural “Chibuleo”, Educational Unit Bilingual Intercultural Mushuc Ñan, and Educational Unit Bilingual Intercultural “Manzanapamba”, with the purpose of determining the level of knowledge that children possessed about personal hygiene, before and after of the application of our activity guide, using the symbolic game as learning strategy. The methodology used was of a descriptive type, with a quali quantitative focus. For the data collection was developed a pictographic evaluation, that would enable the child to respond with greater ease and accuracy, which was composed of seven questions. The results obtained were analyzed and interpreted, in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of the symbolic game at the time of using it as a learning strategy, from which it was possible to write the conclusions and recommendations of this Research.
