Several of the infected people required in-hospital care and pulmonary rehabilitation, which was of great importance in the acute stage to prevent future deterioration and dysfunctions in the patient, the primary objectives of the rehabilitation program are: to improve dyspnea, fatigue, severe muscle weakness, in order to restore functional independence. For this, it was necessary to search by means of a review of scientific information. Based on these investigations, a pulmonary rehabilitation program was designed in patients in hospital isolation with covid -19, which was reviewed and validated by 5 experts on the subject. carried out a satisfaction questionnaire to 12 health professionals from the physiotherapy area of the Ambato General Teaching Hospital. The validation of the program was carried out through the judgment of experts and the content validation calculation of 15 items, a CVCi greater than 0.90 was obtained in 14 items; excellent agreement between experts, in a single item CVCi 0.88; good concordance between experts, at a general CVCt level was 0.95, indicating an excellent level of concordance between experts and allowed the socialization of the program. Regarding the level of satisfaction of the 12 professionals, it scores between 4 and 5 corresponding to partially and totally satisfied. In this way, it can be indicated that the program can be used in daily practice.

Despite the fact that most cases with Covid-19 are mild, a considerable percentage develop severe infections; Of these, 75% will have a long hospitalization and the rest will have to enter intensive care. Therefore, the prevalence of complications associated with bedridden factors and the prone posture that the patient with Covid-19 must maintain is high; thus they develop respiratory symptoms, fatigue, functional limitations, among others; being indispensable to recover the respiratory condition, the functionality and to reinsert the patient to his habituality. The objective of the study was to establish a respiratory physiotherapy program in the recovery of post-covid-19 patients; Through a search for scientific information in high-impact databases, to structure a plan, the plan was subsequently validated under the judgment of experts and finally the plan was shared with interested health professionals. The results of 50 articles obtained and a total of 5 selected articles, after applying an algorithm for selection: 5 bibliographic reviews, 1 relational descriptive study, 1 convenience sampling study, 1 case studies, 1 controlled trial, 1 cross-sectional study; The program was structured with a duration of 6 and 8 weeks after hospital discharge, with an initial frequency of 3 to 5 times a week and progresses to 5 to 7 times a week, the duration of the session is initially 20 to 30 minutes and progresses to 30 to 45 minutes and the repetitions of the exercises at the beginning 1 to 2 sets of 10 repetitions per exercise that progresses to 3 to 5 sets of 10 repetitions per exercise; It was validated by the criteria of 5 experts, with a concordance of 0.95 CVCt; When the program was socialized, the level of satisfaction of the professionals was partially satisfactory and totally satisfactory. Therefore, it can be concluded that the respiratory physiotherapy program in the recovery of the post Covid-19 patient is a reproducible and applicable instrument in the practice of physiotherapy.

(Universdidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Centro de posgrados, 2022-02-01) Santamaría Santana, Gabriela Alexandra Lcda.; Espín Pastor, Victoria Estefanía Lcda. Mg
COVID-19 is a disease that produces several respiratory complications and sequelae associated with this virus, in such a way that the patient presents complications at the muscular level, respiratory functional capacity and quality of life. Therefore, the objective of this research is to identify the impact of respiratory physiotherapy on the in-hospital management of patients COVID-19 treated at the Ambato General Teaching Hospital. The type of research was descriptive and observational, so observation cards were used where the information was collected, with a qualitativequantitative approach since the data obtained were represented in numerical and descriptive form, the intervention data through the quantitative analysis were the statistical data of the COVID-19 patients treated in the isolation area of the Ambato Regional Teaching Hospital, and the descriptive data without manipulating the independent variable to obtain relevant information to identify the impact of respiratory physiotherapy on the in-hospital management of COVID-19 patients. analyze the results the probability that a patient who has received respiratory physiotherapy techniques has a successful recovery from COVID-19 and survives increases by 8.65% compared to people who have not been applied any kind of therapy. Therefore, it is concluded that indeed the application of physiotherapy has a positive effect on the recovery of patients admitted with COVID-19.
