Item Gestión de procesos en el área de producción de la empresa BAESC S.A.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2023-03) Aigaje Sierra, Wilson Andrés; Tubón Núñez, Edith ElenaThe lack of internal management of a production plant implies preparing processes inadequately and ineffectively, producing high production costs without generating added value to the product, reducing the degree of market development. The objective is to develop a management by processes on the production plant in order to maintain a constant follow-up on the management of the resources that BAESC S.A. has. The present research approach, in the textile company BAESC S.A., determined that 23 products are offered, where the evaluation was obtained that, with an average annual sale of $122,438.36, the Spanish Cover is the product with the highest demand, the same that requires 6 main processes for its elaboration and these are: cutting, confection, padding, embroidery, final confection and packaging. For each of the work areas, a management indicator was developed that covers the need to keep track of the critical activities of the production plant. The procedures manual, as a regulatory means of the processes involved, was an important factor, due to the correct planning management of the use of resources present in the company BAESC S.A.Item Sistema de gestión por procesos para la línea de producción de huevos de codorniz de la avícola “Paredes”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2023-03) Ochoa Albán, Andrés Fernando; Tigre Ortega, Franklin GeovannyProcess management is a modern management tool that allows the organization of a company to be viewed from the perspective of its processes and activities. For this reason, it is used by several companies seeking an orderly management based on the main actions to be carried out to create value and satisfy customer needs. This study presents a process management model for the quail egg production line of the Paredes poultry farm. It was found that the main organizational problems were related to the working methods used by the operators to perform their tasks, which were based on rules of thumb, the work was poorly organized and therefore not sufficiently controlled. In addition, procedures were not well defined and standardized, which caused inconveniences when carrying out the company's activities. The study identified two production lines, the production of feed and the production of quail eggs. Within the feed production line, the processes of preparation, milling, mixing and storage were established, while within the quail egg production line, the processes of feeding, egg collection, storage, transport, and packaging were determined. A procedures manual was developed to standardize the operations of the two production lines, train and supervise staff, improve productivity, and optimize the company's resources, resulting in a production process improvement plan.
