Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2020-10) Coyago Brito, Bryan Vicente; Tigre Ortega, Franklin GeovannyABSTRACT The purpose of the research project is to prepare a proposal to improve productivity in the footwear company "LUDWINGFER" with lean manufacturing tools, evaluating all the waste that affects the processes and eliminate all activity that does not add value. By means of a bibliographic and field investigation, four stages are proposed for the development of the project, the analysis of the current situation of the company through the collection of information of the posts of the productive process, the identification of the wastes and activities that do not add value, the selection of tools of the lean manufacture that allow the improvement of the processes and the elaboration of the proposal of improvement of the productivity, all this supported by the software FlexSim for the verification of results. The improvement proposal consists of a plan where a balance of lines is proposed to group the workstations in 10 stations and obtain an efficiency of 70,93 percent, later a plant distribution is made by means of the SLP method to reduce the transport distances from 217,10 meters to 70,60 meters. It is also proposed to implement the 5S methodology to standardize all the aspects that allow the processes to be more efficient and as a last part it is proposed to implement a Kanban board as a visual control to limit the production of each work station to 12 pairs of shoes. With the FlexSim software, the implementation of all the proposed tools is verified, obtaining a monthly production of 2051 pairs of shoes, achieving the goals set by the company in addition to increasing productivity by 10.00 percent by optimizing the available resources and improving the production processes of the LUDWINGFER company.
