Executive summary the purpose of this research is the generation of a proposal so that the hidden curriculum of gender in the illustrations of English texts influence among students gender equality, among the personnel that work in the Fine Tuned English Institute of Loja's city after the respective analysis of illustrations of texts of English gender whose input is the essential foundation for the proposal in question. To achieve this objective intends to awareness and training to all personnel working in the school, especially to executives on the mainstreaming of gender in the educational institution and teachers on the proper use of the texts of English with gender focus because of its permanent standing relationship with students
