Item “El abuso del alcohol en la familia y la agresividad que presentan los niños de séptimo año de educación básica de la Unidad Educativa Honduras de la Ciudad de Ambato durante el período abril – septiembre 2014”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2015-03-01) Ulloa Núñez, Miguel Cristóbal; Dra.Psi. Lara Salazar, Cristina MarielaEl presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo principal determinar si el abuso de alcohol en la familia causa agresividad en los niños de séptimo año de educación básica de la Unidad Educativa Honduras de la Ciudad de Ambato. Los sujetos parte de la investigación son 67 familias de niños con quienes se hizo la respectiva entrevista y posteriormente su historia clínica, subsiguientemente se aplicó un cuestionario adaptado en base al test manifiesta de agresividad, que el autor adaptó acorde a los requerimientos de la investigación. A su vez se trabajó con sus respectivos padres, a quienes se les aplicó el Test de AUDIT para detectar dependencia al alcohol. Del 100% de las personas el 92% existe algún grado de consumo y el 8 % no presenta consumo que corresponde a 4 familias, dentro del 92%, 41 familias se encuentran dentro de la dependencia alcohólica esto corresponde al 60% de la muestra, y 22 familias se encuentran dentro de lo síntomas relacionados con el alcohol esto corresponde al el 32% de la población. De la población infantil se pudo evidenciar que existe un 100% de niños que presentan agresividad de algún tipo es así como 22 niños presentan agresión física contra otras personas lo que corresponde al 34.92%, 18 menores presentan agresión física contra objetos lo que corresponde 28.57%, 12 niños presentan agresión verbal lo que indica el 19.05% de la muestra, y 11 niños presentan agresión contra sí mismo lo que corresponde al 17.46 de la población investigada. Se realizó la Intervención psicoeducativa y terapéutica mediante el programa ALFIL que tiene como finalidad la prevención familiar selectiva. Este programa ha sido aplicado en asociaciones de alcohólicos, a hijos de alcohólicos cuyos progenitores han sido identificados como dependientes del alcohol en un centro especializado.Item El acogimiento institucional temporal como causa de aparecimiento del trastorno de adaptación en los niños de la fundación danielle children´s fund ecuador durante el periodo diciembre 2010 – septiembre 2011(2012-07-04) Ibarra Chávez, Carlos GonzaloEl presente trabajo investigativo tuvo como interrogante principal el determinar si elAcogimiento Institucional Temporal es la causa del aparecimiento del trastorno de adaptación en los niños de la Fundación DanielleChildren´sFund Ecuador durante el periodo Diciembre 2010 – Septiembre 2011, partiendo desde la apreciación de las alteraciones a nivel emocional y conductual que los niños inmersos en esta medida de protección presentanhabitualmente. El enfoque del trabajo realizado fue el cuali-cuantitativo, aplicando la investigación bibliográfica-documental y de campo con un nivel de asociación de variables, se trabajó con 37 niños dentro del proceso de Acogimiento Institucional Temporal dentro del periodo descrito encontrando queel 73% de los niños presentan dicho trastorno, por lo cuál se planteó como propuesta la elaboración y aplicación de un “PROGRAMA MULTIMODAL DE TRATAMIENTO DEL TRASTORNO DE ADAPTACIÓN EN NIÑOS EN ACOGIMIENTO INSTITUCIONAL TEMPORAL” el mismo que se basa en la combinación de dos enfoques teóricos: el cognitivo conductual y el familiar sistémico, con el fin de lograr un tratamiento integral del niño y de su familia durante el transcurso del proceso de Acogimiento Institucional Temporal.Item “Acoso escolar y consumo de sustancias en adolescentes”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2018-03-01) Llamuca Becerra, Álvaro Bladimir; Flores Hernández, Verónica Fernanda Ps. Cl Mg.This research was conducted in order to determine the relationship between bullying and substance use in adolescents of the Christian Educational Unit “Nazareno”, where it was taken as a sample 179 school-age students from 11 to 18 years, who were attending from 8th year to 3rd High School. In this research work can be found in the first chapter the problem raised, with an analysis of macro-level context, meso and micro, together with the rationale and objectives, both general and specific. In the second chapter is the theoretical framework detailing, both previous research and theoretical foundations of the studied variables. The third chapter is the methodological framework, which explains the type of methodology, sampling design and description of managed reagents. In the fourth chapter is testing hypotheses through the Pearson correlation and the results of each of the variables represented by pictures and corresponding figures. The fifth and final chapter details the conclusions and recommendations according to the formulated objectives.Item Acoso escolar y satisfacción familiar en estudiantes de bachillerato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2023-03-01) Acurio Oñate, Emelyn Nayely; García Ramos, Diana Carolina Psi. Cl. Mg.The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between bullying, known as the constant and intentional verbal mistreatment or abuse of power that a girl or boy receives from two or more individuals, and family satisfaction, defined as all the positive feelings that appear in the person when he or she is immersed in the family environment. The research was conducted on high school students, the study was of quantitative approach, descriptive correlational and cross-sectional type, in a sample of 142 students (72 males and 70 females). The tests used were the Cisneros Self-Test to measure bullying and the Family Satisfaction Scale by Adjectives to measure the construct of family satisfaction. The results showed that there is an indirect correlation of low intensity between bullying and family satisfaction (R=-0.348; p= < .001.); as for bullying the high level predominates (66.9%), followed by the very high level (33.1%) and, finally, in family satisfaction the medium level prevails (35.2%), followed by the very low level (23.2%) and the low level (16.9%). With regard to bullying and sex, no statistically significant differences were found. In conclusion, the higher the bullying scores, the lower the family satisfaction scores, thus proving the importance of family satisfaction as a protective factor against bullying in the students evaluatedItem Acoso escolar y su relación con las habilidades sociales en adolescentes(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2023-04-18) Masabanda Pazmiño, María José; Gaibor González, Ismael ÁlvaroBullying involves the execution of violent actions within a context in which one interacts with others, such actions aim to harass and devalue others; social skills are factors that are acquired, they are externalized in an interpersonal environment that is to say through interactions with others, therefore, both aspects have a common factor that is the development through sociability which has aroused the interest of correlational study of these variables becoming the main objective of this research. The approach of the study is non-experimental, field, correlational, cross-sectional, quantitative and bibliographic. The population consisted of 91 male and female students from a secondary school. The results obtained refle cted the existence of low and almost low levels of bullying in most of those evaluated, and good and excellent levels in social skills, a significant difference according to sex in bullying was ruled out, and finally, a slight inverse correlation was found between bullying and social skills.Item La actitud frente al consumo de sustancias y su relación con la calidad de vida en estudiantes universitarios(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2023-04-20) Cajas Fernandez, David Fabricio; Bonilla Basantes, Paulina JhojanaAttitudes towards substance use affect the quality of life of university students. The general objective of this research was to determine the relationship between attitudes towards substance use and quality of life. By means of a quantitative correlational approach, non-experimental design with a cross-sectional cut. The sample consisted of 136 university students between 18 and 25 years of age, selected by means of a non-probabilistic intentional sampling. The self-report of psychoactive substance use (AICA) and the Olson and Barnes quality of life scale (reliability of 0.87 using the Kaiser-Meyer measure) were applied. The results showed a positive correlation (Pearson's R = 0.295 and p<0.01) between attitudes towards drug use and quality of life, 71.3% of those evaluated had unfavorable attitudes towards drug use, there was a tendency towards good quality of life, and there was a difference between attitudes towards drug use and the sex of the participantsItem “La actitud parental negligente, como causa de aparecimiento de enuresis secundaria, en niños de 5 a 7 años de edad, que acuden al cpd infa ambato, en el primer semestre del año 2011”.(2013-07-09) Peñaherrera Vargas, Samanta ElizabethEl presente trabajo investigativo tuvo como objetivo principal, el determinar si la actitud parental negligente es la causa del aparecimiento de enuresis secundaria,en los niños que acuden al CPD INFA, durante el primer semestre del año 2011, partiendo desde la apreciación de las alteraciones a nivel emocional y conductual que los niños en situación de vulnerabilidad, presentaron durante este periodo de investigación. De esta forma el enfoque de este estudio fue cuanti-cualitativo, aplicando la investigación conjunta con un nivel de asociación de variables. Así, se evaluó a los 30 niños y niñas que presentaroneste cuadro, mediante la Historia Clínica Multimodal de Enuresis Infantil de Arnold A. Lazaruz, identificando en los niños y niñas a padres y/o familiares que están a su cuidado, una actitud negligente,ya que fue notoria la privación física y emocional de los mismos debido a dificultades laborales, familiares, educativas o laidiosincrasia que rigüe en este nivel cultural, pudiéndose observar claramente que, esta actitud incide directamente en la formación del cuadro de E.S. Dentro del periodo descrito se evidenció, que la actitud parental negligente en este caso afectiva, es de un 66.66% de los niños y niñas, considerada la de mayor gravedad, por las consecuencias futuras de tendrá el niño y niña que lo padece, por lo cual se planteó como propuesta la elaboración y aplicación de un “PROGRAMA MULTIMODAL DE ALNOLD LAZARUZ, que busca tratamiento en cada caso y en cada área en particular.Item Actitudes disfuncionales y su Relación en el Autoconcepto de los Adolescentes de Bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa Eloy Alfaro(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud-Carrera Psicología Clínica, 2016-02-01) Cabrera Cabrera, Diana Elizabeth; Betancourt Ulloa, Nancy del Carmen Psc.This research work had as main objective, "Analyze dysfunctional attitudes and their relationship in the self-concept of adolescents of high school of the Education Unit Eloy Alfaro" in the Province of Tungurahua Ambato, related to a suitable alternative coping. The research was quantitative in nature for which 100 high school students of School whose ages range between 15 and 18 years old, composed of 58 women (58%) and 42 (42%) men were evaluated. The data were obtained by the Dysfunctional Attitudes Scale of Weissman and Beck and questionnaire Autoconcepto (SC1) How am I? For that, all of which were statistically processed, interpreted and analyzed yielding results with no correlation. However, problems are evident in the different areas of dysfunctional attitudes as in the area of enforcement, perfectionism, love, approval and autonomy. So a treatment proposal focused on Cognitive Therapy and Rational Emotive Therapy, in order to instruct adolescents about the genesis of these attitudes, as well as its causes and consequences arise.Item Actitudes frente al consumo de sustancias psicoactivas y estrategias de afrontamiento en integrantes de grupos de Narcóticos Anónimos(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2024-03-01) Tamayo Bonilla, Jenny Fernanda; Mejía Rubio, Andrea del Rocío Ps. Cl. Mgs.El consumo de sustancias es una problemática psicosocial que aborda aspectos internos, como los fenómenos psíquicos en la relación de las actitudes individuales y las estrategias de afrontamiento, los cuales generan un impacto crucial en la salud mental y el bienestar emocional. Se estableció la relación entre las actitudes frente al consumo de sustancias psicoactivas y las estrategias de afrontamiento en integrantes de grupos de Narcóticos Anónimos (N.A).El estudio fue de tipo no experimental y cuantitativo, incluyó a 130 participantes de 18 a 70 años. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó el Autoinforme de consumo de sustancias psicoactivas (AICA) y el Inventario de Estrategias de Afrontamiento (CSI).Dentro de los principales hallazgos, se observó una correlación positiva leve entre las actitudes frente al consumo de sustancias psicoactivas y las estrategias de afrontamiento; así mismo, la mayoría de la población presentó una actitud desfavorable frente al consumo de sustancias, siendo las estrategias de afrontamiento predominantes la resolución de problemas, apoyo social y evitación del problema; además se halló una mayor actitud desfavorable en mujeres en comparación con los hombres. Las actitudes desfavorables frente al consumo de sustancias refieren una tendencia hacia la adopción de estrategias de afrontamiento para lidiar con diversas situaciones estresantes, además contribuye a la prevención de posibles riesgos asociados con el uso de drogas o alcohol.Item La adaptación al nuevo entorno familiar de hijos de padres migrantes en el instituto superior “luis a. martinez” durante el periodo marzo – julio 2011(2012-02-15) Salinas Aguilar, Paola EstefaníaLa investigación se desarrolla sobre el tema: “La Adaptación al Nuevo Entorno Familiar de hijos de Padres Migrantes en el Instituto Superior “Luis A. Martínez” Durante el periodo Marzo – Julio 2011”, uno de los objetivos más importantes en la investigación es establecer una relación sistemática entre el nuevo entorno familiar y el adolecente, hijo de padres migrantes, el paradigma de estudio es de acuerdo al enfoque critico propositivo. Es crítico porque cuestiona el contexto social que en ocasiones margina, excluye e ignora al adolescente, hijo de padres migrantes que se queda sin uno o ambos progenitores, también la investigación es de carácter propositivo, porque la investigadora se plantea en su momento una propuesta que potencialice al cambio y concientice la estructura familiar y la importancia de la funcionalidad de la familia, además se articula la investigación de campo con la bibliografía; las conclusiones generales de mayor relevancia sirven de base referencial para proponer la alternativa de solución, de manera que el nuevo entorno familiar de los adolescentes del Instituto Superior “Luis A. Cl. Mg.The objective of this research project was to determine the relationship between social adaptation and psychological well-being in refugees in Ecuador. The sample was of 30 people belonging to the Civil Association "Venezuelans in Ecuador" in the city of Quito, which comprised an age range of 18 to 50 years and with a maximum stay of one year in the host country. The psychometric instruments used were the SASS Applied Social Scale of Social Adaptation and the Ryff Psychological Wellbeing Scale. Through the results obtained, it was determined that social adaptation is related to psychological well-being in refugees who are currently based in Ecuador, indicating a correlation of r =, 572 (p, 001) between the two variables. In the results of the self-applied scale of social adaptation SAAS the results showed that 29 people presented a normal level of adaptation, while 1 person presented pathological super adaptation. Finally, in Ryff's Psychological Well-Being Scale it was concluded that the 30 people evaluated had a high psychological well-being.Item Adaptación Social y su Relación con los Niveles de Ansiedad en los Aspirantes de la Esforse del Batallón Nº2, Promoción 2014-2016 del Cantón Ambato de la Provincia de Tungurahua(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud-Carrera Psicología Clínica, 2016-06-01) Ortiz Sunta, Karen Mishel.; Añazco Lalama, Ángel Santiago Dr. MScThis research work had as main objective identify the relationship between in the social adjustment and anxiety levels specifically in the military aspirants in the ESFORSE of the Battalion No. 2, of the City of Ambato, where the focus of the study was quantitative and qualitative, together with association of variables applying the research level descriptive where was collected data about the hypothesis. where the evaluated was 235 candidates with aged from 19-23 years of age, of male sex currently residing in the facilities of the Training School for Soldiers "Winners of the Cenepa", it was used a different quiz, the scale of social adaptation self-administered SASS, with the final purpose to identify the level of social adaptation more frequent. xv Also It was used the Hamilton Scale for anxiety that allow to recognize the anxiety symptoms and the level of anxiety more predominant applicants investigated. In the research time are evidenced that the alternate hypothesis raised is true since there are relationship between social adjustment and anxiety levels of applicants already than adapt improperly it presents the coexistence of anxiety symptom in applicants.Item ADICCIÓN A LAS REDES SOCIALES Y BIENESTAR PSICOLÓGICO EN ESTUDIANTES UNIVERSITARIOS(2025-03-05) Garcés Obregón, Jesy Nayeli; Gavilanes Manzano, Fanny Rocío; Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Psicología ClínicaNowadays, social networks are a circumstantial tool for communication and social development of people, therefore, the present study aimed to determine the relationship between addiction to social networks and psychological well-being. A total of 206 students from a university in Latacunga - Ecuador participated in the study. The research has a nonexperimental design, with a descriptive-correlational scope. Two psychometric instruments were applied to measure the study variables: the Escurra and Salas Social Network Addiction Questionnaire (ARS) and the Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale (EBPR). The results showed a low positive correlation between the study variables, which implies that the greater the use of social networks, the higher the level of psychological well-being also increases slightly. A high level of addiction (81.1) was obtained with respect to the mean of all participants, and a moderate level of psychological well-being (61.2 %). A comparison by sex showed that there were no significant differences between men and women, therefore, a low positive correlation was concluded (p=0.078), suggesting that as long as there is a prolonged use of social networks, the dimensions that encompass psychological well-being such as autonomy, mastery of the environment, purpose in life, and personal growth tend to increase slightly in the study population.Item Adicción a las redes sociales y estado de ánimo en estudiantes universitarios(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud / Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2023-09-18) Quevedo Romero, Carlos Andrés; Ponce Delgado, Agueda del RocíoThe aim of the study was to determine the relationship between social network addiction and mood in university students. It is a non-experimental, cross-sectional, quantitative and correlational design. A total of 254 students between 18 and 22 years of age participated. The instruments used were the Social Network Addiction Questionnaire (ARS) to measure addiction, and the Mood Rating Scale (EVEA) which measures 4 dimensions: sadness-depression, anxiety, anger-hostility and happiness. The results showed a positive correlation between addiction to social networks and the mood states of sadness-depression (Rho=0.320), anxiety (Rho=0.358), anger-hostility (Rho= 0.358) at the 0.001 level with mild intensity. While, joy is negatively correlated with social network addiction (Rho=-0.128) at 0.05 level with mild intensity. On the other hand, self-esteem refers to how a person values him/herself and feels capable of facing life's challenges. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between these two variables. The study sample consisted of 103 participants, ranging in age from 14 to 16 years. This work has a quantitative-no n - experimental approach with a cross-sectional design and correlational scope. For data collection, the GASA-Short test version adapted to Spanish by Llorel et al., (2017) and a Rosenberg self-esteem scale (RSE) originally developed by Morris Rosenberg (1965) were used. The data were analyzed using Spearman's correlation test using the statisti c a l program Jamovi version 2.3.28. The results showed that there is no relationship betwee n self-esteem and video game addiction (Rho= 0.019 p>0.05) suggesting that both adolescents with high self-esteem and those with low self-esteem may develop video game addiction in similar proportions.Item Adicción a redes sociales y su relación con la autoestima en estudiantes universitarios(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2023-03-01) Collantes Hernández, Karla Doménica; Tobar Viera, Andrea Susana Psc. Mg.Social media are virtual spaces created with the purpose of improving communication between human beings due to the speed at which information can be sent either from one room to another or even between different countries, despite the fact that it has many advantages. Excessive or uncontrolled use of these technological spaces brings with it a series of effects on a psychological level, since by spending a lot of time on social networks, the user begins to think that other people have the life they want and feel insufficient with themselves, being affected their self-esteem. The objective of this study is to establish the relationship between addiction to social networks and self-esteem in university students, for which a sample of 280 participants was used, 218 men and 74 women between the ages of 17 and 25 from a public university, to whom the Rossenberg Self-esteem Scale and the Social Media Addiction Scale were applied. The results show a negative relationship between the levels of addiction to social networks and its dimensions: occupation (p= -0.281), mood change (p= -0.402), relapse (p= -0.310) and conflict (p= -0.386) with the levels of self-esteem, in addition there is no significant difference in terms of the comparison of the sex in a higher or lower level of addiction (p= 0.218), which makes it clear that the sex to which they belong does not represent a determining factor in addiction.Item Adicción a redes sociales y su relación con la imagen corporal en adolescentes(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2022-09) Ripalda Mora, Joselyn Thalia; Flores Hernández, Verónica Fernanda Ps. Cl. Mg.The present research was carried out with the aim of identifying the relationship between the risk of addiction to social networks and concern about body image in teenagers. It is through social networks that stereotypes and ideals of beauty are disseminated, especially affecting adolescents, generating concern and dissatisfaction with their body image and increasing the risk of generating some type of problem related to the perception of this image or self-esteem. For this purpose, the Adolescent addiction risk Scale to social networks and the internet and the Body Shape Questionnaire were applied to a population of 92 students between 15 and 17 years old that belong to the Educational Unit “Alicia Marcuard de Yerovi” that is located in the city of Salcedo. The methodology used in this research was quantitative since the data obtained were analyzed using the statistical program SPSS, the correlation was identified by Spearman's Rho test in which it was determined that there is no relationship between the risk variables of addiction to social networks and concern about body image (Rho= -0.103, p>0.05). According to the results, the majority of the studied population does not present a risk of addiction to social networks and the internet, likewise, the majority has a level of no concern about body image. Regarding the comparison of concern about body image between the sex of the participants, it was found that there are significant differences between men and women. The present study aimed to determine the relationship between internet addiction (AI) and depression in a sample of 152 university students aged 18 to 30 belonging to a university in Ambato. A quantitative approach was used, with a design non-experimental, correlational type. The Internet Addiction Test and the Beck Depression Inventory (short version) were used. The results showed a moderate positive correlation between the variables, indicating that higher the level of Internet addiction correspond to greater presence of depressive symptoms. In addition, it was found that 49.3% of the young university students presented a normal level of IA, while that 20.4% had a moderate level. Regarding depression, 28.3% of the population showed moderate depression and 21.1% mild depression. Relevant differences were also found in IA levels, with men presenting higher scores compared to women.
