It also offers unique cultural experiences, such as its traditional festivities that reflect the richness of its customs and traditions. Each plaza has its own identity and purpose: while some specialize in fresh agricultural products, others are known for textiles, ceramics and leather goods. This constant flow of merchants and shoppers has turned Saquisilì into a meeting point for communities from different cities. In addition, the canton has a complementary offer of hotels and restaurants that allow tourists to enjoy a complete experience, exploring the plazas and learning more about their surroundings. To strengthen this offer, a survey was conducted with the merchants of each plaza, whose information will be key to designing development strategies. On the other hand, cultural tourism is considered a form of alternative tourism and symbolizes the perfection of the commercialization of culture, also cultural tourism is tourism that evokes the memory of the people and their creation, and is an alternative or complement to the typical tourism that is to say that we travel to the past because people are preserving the culture from their ancestors such as clothing, festivals, religions and art, For them we will focus on the festivities of the virgin of Quinche, since the inhabitants of this canton have an affection for this saint, it is for this reason that they celebrate it every year and it is considered as a culture for the people who live in this canton since it has been done since many years ago, for this we have made a card of the INPC, which speaks of the location, description, valuation, identification, carriers, observers and control data.
