Item Evaluación del comportamiento a flexión de vigas de hormigón simple, preparado a partir de materiales reciclados(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. The main objective of this research is to analyze the flexural behavior of beams made from recycled concrete and to carry out an adequate dosage, previous laboratory tests such as granulometry, densities and moisture content have been carried out. A total of 36 beams have been made with different dosages of 10, 15, 30, 60 and 100 percent with a resistance of 240 kg/cm2 to obtain experimental results and compare them with base beams made from coarse natural aggregate, the beams After being cured at 7 and 28 days of age, they were flexurally tested and the loads (KN), modulus of rupture (MPa) and deflections (mm) presented by each of the beams were recorded. From the results obtained, the flexural resistance of each of the beams varies according to the percentage of aggregates that constitute them, showing that the modulus of rupture at 28 days of age, the VF_30 and VF_100 beams support greater flexural loads by 5.09 and 1.77 percent compared to base concrete VF_0 beams without recycled aggregate.Item Influencia de la mampostería de relleno en el comportamiento de un pórtico de estructura metálica sometido a carga lateral(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2019) Castro Falcón, Christian Santiago; Medina Robalino, Christian DavidIn this project the behavior of a steel frame subjected to lateral forces was analyzed and a comparative table was established with the same frame but filled with masonry, the mathematical representation established by FEMA was used for the analysis of the structural behavior. The frame to be analyzed was established, modeling was carried out for the finite element program ETABS, after the analysis called "Pushover" was carried out in order to analyze its behavior under lateral forces, the rigidity of the frame was established, maximum lateral load, maximum deformation of the frame, element that absorbs the highest value of shear and mechanism of failure of the frame. 63 frames models were established with different masonry representations that caused a change in structural behavior when subjected to the same Pushover analysis. The results showed a marked difference between the analysis without masonry and the one that had a masonry representation, pathologies and structural behaviors not expected in the previous analysis were visualized, reason why this study concluded that in order to analyze with greater fidelity the behavior of structures it is indispensable the representation of the masonry or a reengineering of the constructive system.Item Comparación del comportamiento de viga armada con modificaciones en la colocación de los aceros transversales vs una típicamente armada para el mejoramiento ante esfuerzos de corte y flexión(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. This was the idea of different types of beam crossings. The different types of transverse reinforcement of the beams are compared with a beam with typically reinforced transverse steels. The research is carried out by using the coarse and fine aggregates of the quarry "Villacrés" and in turn the "Holcim" cement. The results obtained from the beams with their different types of reinforcement are determined by the bending test. In turn, the results are compared in percent to identify the improvements that can appear in the beams before the cutting and flexing efforts with their different types of cross-sectional arcs.Item Determinación de la resistencia a flexión en vigas de hormigón ligero estructural incluyendo arcilla expandida y su comparación con hormigones tradicionales(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. To prepare specimens (beams), it was carried out with brought materials from the quarry "PENINSULA" located in Canton Ambato, Tungurahua Province, in which they moved to the laboratories of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Mechanics Technical University of Ambato, for their mechanical properties and verify its limits states through various materials testing. Once obtained the mechanical properties of the materials concrete proportions calculated for a design strength fc = 240Kg / cm² using Method Aim Density. According to the dosage obtained specimens (beams) with proportions of 30% and 50% of expanded clay in replacement of coarse aggregate making the material it took volume were prepared. The shear connectors that were part of this research were of type (corrugated rod Ø8mm, screw, spigot and stirrup type) all these devices fulfill functions that were reflected in the tests as: to prevent the horizontal sliding and vertical separation between slab Composite and the concrete beam, loss of adhesion between the concrete and the cooperating plate and obtain the maximum resistance to flexion greater than if each elements worked alone. To identify a structural element as a composite, it must ensure the interaction between the steel and concrete material by which the results were achieved with the use of the shear connectors. Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2016) Gordillo Bravo, Nicole Katherine; Garces Chávez, Juan EnriqueItem Análisis y diseño de losa de hormigón armado con elementos postensados(2015-05) Quilumba Billa, Marco Vinicio; Mora Mora, Miguel ÁngelEl presente proyecto de investigación permite estudiar a las losas, dentro del capítulo de concreto preesforzado, aplicando las normas del ACI 318-08 (American Concrete Institute), para hormigón preesforzado y las Normas Ecuatorianas de Construcción (NEC-2015). Se utilizaron fórmulas analíticas de hormigón armado para el predimensionamiento de los elementos estructurales como columnas y gradas. El tipo de losa se encuentra dentro del hormigón preesforzado. La losa de hormigón con elementos postensados se fundamentó en una losa plana, es decir no se encuentra conformada por vigas; la losa está configurada bajo el criterio de un diafragma rígido, para su posterior modelado. Las solicitaciones de carga permanente y viva, hacen referencia a las actualizaciones del código NEC-2015, las cuales se encuentra aprobadas y vigentes en el país desde el 10 de Enero bajo el nombre “MIDUVI, Registro Oficial, Año II, Nro. 413” Se realizó, el cálculo del edificio DAYALLE de cinco pisos altos, con la utilización de un programa especializado para el cálculo de estructuras, cumpliendo con la filosofía de una estructura sismo-resistente. Posteriormente verificado el edificio, el objeto de estudio y análisis es la losa del entrepiso N+7.74, la misma que se exportó a un programa especializado en elementos postensados, permitiendo el análisis, cálculo y diseño; dando como resultado una guía técnica de modelación y puedo concluir que son estructuras de un bajo peralte, altamente resistentes, con una metodología de diseño y construcción diferente al de una losa tradicional de hormigón armado.
