Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial.Maintenance management in automotive service companies is essential to ensuring operational continuity and asset availability; therefore, a CMMS is a key tool for organizing teams, monitoring service calls, and optimizing strategic decision-making. This study was conducted at the VIHAL Comprehensive Automotive Center and focuses on designing a CMMS-supported maintenance plan for the equipment and machinery in the technical service area. The study employs a mixed-methods approach combining fieldwork and documentary research, with a descriptive and applied research scope; it is structured using techniques of direct observation, document review, and the collection of technical information from records, manuals, and input from operational staff. This methodological integration made it possible to compile an inventory, prioritize and code the assets, assess their current condition, apply the semi-quantitative CTR criticality model, and conduct an FMEA to identify failure modes, causes, effects, and current controls in order to establish maintenance tasks focused on mitigating operational risks and extending the useful life of the equipment and machinery. Based on the results of this research, a maintenance plan is proposed that is organized by tasks, frequency, responsible parties, and technical procedures, supported by a CMMS to schedule activities, manage work orders, record interventions, and maintain traceability of the operational history of equipment and machinery. In this way, the proposal serves as a technical tool for planning, controlling, and monitoring maintenance within the company.
