    Introduction: Mechanical intestinal obstructions in pediatric patients are infrequent because of their etiology, but the delay in diagnosis and treatment can lead to complications and death. Objectives: To analyze the complications of a mechanical intestinal obstruction in relation to nursing care through a bibliographical review and clinical history. Methodology: Descriptive and field, which allowed to establish contact with the patient's reality, performing direct interview, documentation, books, scientific articles. Results: This analysis was carried out with the purpose of identifying the influence of the nursing team in the prevention and promotion of health in nursing care in the patient with Mechanical Intestinal Obstruction. During the development of this work it was possible to appreciate a patient who does not have a good quality of life, several risk factors and some critical points were identified. Conclusions: The critical points that were found in the present clinical case were established, where care in the family declines due to a lack of adequate education in the care of the patient, so a guide for the management of the patient with mechanical intestinal obstruction which is based on the NANDA, NIC, NOC taxonomy.

    “Perforación intestinal neonatal, orientado a los cuidados de enfermería”

    The present analysis deals with an intestinal perforation that is a rare health problem at the hospital level, constituting an important cause of morbi and mortality in the world population. In it is detailed information of a neonate, born in a Basic Hospital of 3 days of life, with no family history of importance, with the diagnosis of intestinal obstruction accompanied by nausea at birth presenting: globular distended abdomen, hydroaereous noises; For which he is referred to this health home, is admitted by emergency to perform specific and laboratory tests, the same ones that are assessed by the physician, giving as a diagnosis (Intestinal Perforation), surgery was performed resection of ileocecal area more Terminal ileostomy, is currently referred to a third level in UCI (intensive care unit) to be treated this type of pathologies. For the development of this work we used a descriptive methodology obtained in the Clinical History that rests in the health unit, based on biological risk factors, environmental, lifestyle and laboratory tests, likewise a verbal interview where we could Inquiring the details of the disease, the specific cause of the pathology was not sought but it is attributed to many causes that lead to this, and will be supported by bibliographical sources, books, documents, scientific articles. It was identified that the patient, after being surgically operated because of an intestinal perforation, presented sequels that modified his lifestyle which contributed to the development of an intra hospital guide for all the nursing staff for the area of neonatology since independently this Type of patients require specific care that will contribute to patient recovery.
