Item Efecto de la inoculación de Trichoderma spp. combinada con enraizantes sobre el establecimiento y vigor vegetativo de fresa (Fragaria × ananassa) variedad Monterrey(Universidad Técnica de Ambato Carrera de Agronomía, 2026-07) Aguagallo Jinde, Lady Mabel; Valle Velastegui, Edgar LucianoThe strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa) is one of the most economically important fruit crops due to its high demand in national and international markets. In this context, the present research aimed to evaluate the effect of inoculation with Trichoderma spp. combined with two commercial rooting agents on the establishment and vegetative vigor of the Monterrey strawberry variety under open field conditions in the Santa Rosa parish, Tungurahua province. The research was conducted using a Randomized Complete Block Design with three treatments and three replications. The treatmentsevaluated consisted of a combination of Trichoderma spp. with two commercial rooting agents and a conventional treatment based on chemical fungicides. The variables evaluated were percentage of successful rooting, root length, plant height at 30 and 60 days after transplanting, and number of stolons. The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in plant height at 30 days or in the number of stolons; however, significant differences were found in the percentage of survival, root length and plant height 60 days after transplanting. The treatment comprising Trichoderma spp. and the rooting agent Raizyner yielded the best results across these variables, promoting root development and the vegetative growth of the plants. It is concluded that the inoculation of Trichoderma spp. combined with commercial rooting agents constitutes a viable biological alternative for strengthening the initial establishment of strawberry crops and contributing to the development of more sustainable production systems
