    The quality of the learning environment is the most important factor in order to achieve positive student performance. Ergonomics applied in the classroom and its activities, learning or developing any task, anthropometry and the design of physical spaces are important. The application of Anthropometry in educational establishments requires research to adjust it to the needs and possibilities of the institution. In this case, we will work for the ergonomics of architecture students, the environment to improve their comfort and performance, different aspects have been evaluated in our research, which improves learning conditions. The analysis of ergonomics inside the posture of the human body, according to the anthropometric study, indicates the different postures for the use of multifunctional furniture. That is the reason to design of the technical drawing laboratory and its multifunctional furniture and why it becomes important, where students can generate a link with learning. That’s why I propose the design of a classroom and its furniture optimizing the performance of a work station. Entering into the study of multifunctional modular design and cover each necessity generated by students in the effect of learning.

    Mobiliario multifuncional y su implementación en la vivienda de interés social en Ecuador

    The main objective of this research is to determine the importance of the use of multifunctional furniture in Ecuadorian housing, with the aim of improving living conditions within small spaces; It also proposes that housing be treated as an integral element where the internal function and the diverse needs of the family nucleus go hand in hand, in such a way that it contributes towards improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of said projects and therefore to the full satisfaction of their basic, social and cultural needs. In this project, the multifunctional furniture for its implementation in the housing of Ecuadorian social interest, is presented under criteria obtained from bibliographic research, field research (where interviews and direct observation meet) and intuition, providing a conclusion parameters that allow to be applied towards the elaboration of the proposal of a furniture line that in this case is adapted to the 38.29m2 house that you build the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing.
