Item Diseño de hábitats flexibles y su aplicación en escenarios emergentes generados por la actividad del volcán Tungurahua(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Diseño y Arquitectura. Carrera de Diseño de Espacios Arquitectónicos., 2022-03-17) López Supe, Jazmín Vanessa; Núñez Torres, Sandra HipatiaThe current situation regarding natural disasters and how they claimed lives and left hundreds of families homeless is a latent reality, which becomes a problem of habitability complications, since the immediate solution given by the government are deficient with respect to the quality of life as they do not have adequate conditions of habitability, This is why This Research was based on the analysis of flexible habitats the respond to emerging scenarios, making evident the design criteria that guide to understand the importance of flexible habitats and a strategic plan with the affected communities through the use of participatory methodology, this information was compiled through the analysis of references, bibliographic-documentary basis, in addition to interviews with professionals who have used a participatory methodological guide in their design projects, on the other hand, this research analyzed on of the communities affected by the eruptions of the Tungurahua volcano and how their experience has been living in an emergent shelter, thus evidencing the complications of adaptability of the affected people, the psychosocial problems and the difficulty of post-traumatic recovery that they have had to live. Thus the research seeks to link interior design, community participation and public management to the conception of flexible habitats and their application in emerging scenarios, through design criteria oriented to the application of participatory methodologies in the design process from beginning to end of the project, reaching to develop a conceptual model for the application of flexible habitat design that responds to emerging scenarios generated by the activity of the Tungurahua volcano.
