    Podcast, una potente manera de entretener a los jóvenes

    The internet is so wide that it allows to create all kinds of content, every day new ways of entertainment emerge on the web, and the podcast is not left behind because it has come to position itself in the minds of young people, because the topics that can be touched there are very broad, you can listen to it at any time and anywhere, you only need a mobile device to easily access a podcast. The main objective of this research is to analyze the influence of podcasts as a powerful way of entertainment in young people between 19 and 30 years of age, in addition to analyzing the topics that are addressed in the different chapters that are published on various platforms, and the reactions of the audience to them. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, a mixed qualitative and quantitative approach was used, with different methods such as interview, content analysis and survey, which were conducted to producers of podcasts and young people, precisely students of the Communication career of the Technical University of Ambato. The results showed that podcasts are a powerful way to entertain young people since they prefer entertainment podcasts rather than other topics in their free time or boredom, and they would like to participate in the production of a podcast. On the other hand, the producers of the podcasts analyzed deal with topics that are related to youth, such as anecdotes, everyday stories, humor.

    Podcast como herramienta de educación virtual en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en estudiantes de comunicación

    This research focuses on the analysis of the audiovisual product podcast as a digital tool in virtual training. Since the pandemic, the educational system was forced to use technology to maintain the academic process. In this, platforms and strategies were developed that would help to strengthen the students' performance. The podcast is a recreational element different from the traditional ones, it has important characteristics that help to complement knowledge. Taking into account that the population chosen for the research are university students. The objective is to analyze how the podcast works in virtual education and its impact on the teaching-learning process in students of the Communication career of the Technical University of Ambato. The information collected in this study shows that there are several ways to complement the teaching-learning process. This work was developed with a quantitative methodology, using the survey method to collect and tabulate data numerically. As a main result, it was determined that the Podcast is a novel tool that can be included in the course. The format of its presentation can be adapted to the needs of the students. However, an effective strategy must be created to maximize its effectiveness.

    Podcasts are a digital tool that is presented as an innovative, creative and accessible proposal. This audio format has the particularity of giving the user the flexibility to listen to the content they want at the time they like and to select the type of program they like the most. is of interest to you, in the same way, it offers benefits to the content creator since to create, upload and publish programs it does not require strong economic investments, on the contrary, it allows it to have its visibility space with resources that are available at scope. This research aims to determine the level of acceptance of podcasts in university students in Ambato, in turn, identify what type of content is more and less accepted, diagnose consumption habits and analyze how they influence students. To achieve these stated objectives, a complementary methodology was used, for which, in the quantitative aspect, surveys were applied to the 23 students of the Tenth Year of the Social Communication career at the Universidad Técnica de Ambato and in the qualitative aspect, a group was taken a focal point of podcast creators to interview them, all this in order to have data and a broader panorama from both sources. Likewise, for this investigation, a search for information and investigative work that resembles the proposal of this project was previously carried out, the same ones that allow giving a theoretical and scientific support to the investigation
