    Evaluación de cuatro hibridos de tomate riñon (Lycopersicum esculentum) con dos densidades de plantación

    The trial was conducted in the area Airport, Parish Izamba, belonging to the Canton Ambato, Tungurahua Province, with the following geographical and climatic data: Altitude 2545 meters, Latitude 1 12' 40.9 "S, Longitude 78 ° 35' 41.8 "W, Maximum temperature of 24.7 ° C, minimum temperature of 14.8 ° C and 71.2% relative humidity. In order to provide the development of new technologies for the production of kidney tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) in the Aereopuerto sector Izamba Parish under greenhouse conditions. Design Randomized Complete Block (DBCA) with a 4X2 factorial arrangement with 8 treatments and 4 replications was used in this investigation. Factor A corresponded to the Hybrid tomato A1 = Cedral; A2 = Sprigel; A3 = Strabo; A4 = Witness. Factor B were the two planting densities: B1 = 27778 plants / hectare; B2 = 34722 p / ha. Variance analysis was performed; Tukey test at 5%; correlation analysis and linear regression; partial budget economic analysis; dominance analysis and calculation of the marginal rate of return. Once statistical, agronomic and economic analysis performed the following results are summarized below:  According to the statistical analysis, the highest projected average yield was recorded in the hybrid A3: Strabo with 307,828.65 kg per hectare, this hybrid also had the highest acceptability by most beneficiaries / as by its round shape, size, duration and roost in market price.  The effect of the two stocking densities tomato kidney was very different, the highest average yield was evaluated in density 2 (Seeding = 34722 p / ha), with 314,457.49 kg / ha.  In the interaction of factors (A x B), the highest average yield was quantified in the treatment T7: A3b2 (Strabo with 34722 p / ha), with 335,803.1 kg / ha.  Economically cost varying in each treatment was the best technological alternative treatment T3: a3b1 (Strabo with 27778 p / ha), with a net profit of $ 137805.9 / ha and TMR 2885%.  Whereas with density 2 more berries performance is obtained by ha / year and in January density greater economic performance is achieved by ha / year, with an estimated 1.8 cycles ha / year of tomato grown under greenhouse horticulture.
