Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Unidad de Posgrado, Maestria en Trabajo Social Familiar, 2020-09) Mayorga Mera, Macarena Monserratte; Paredes Ruiz, Teresa de JesúsSociety undergoes changes in different aspects over the years, and one of them is gender identity. Heterosexuality needs to be found today. Today, the term LGBTI is widely known and mentioned, which means lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and intersex, but its wide knowledge and acceptance is still precarious. Half of LGBTI people hide their gender identity, even more in the workplace for fear of rejection and discrimination, being legally this should not happen, if in fact labor rights were declared universal without any ethnic distinction, gender, sex, religion, etc. Access to job promotions is one of the difficulties that LGBTI people may encounter once they make their status public. An uncritical look, but more habitual than we think, would conclude, without further ado, that those who have a hostile environment with concealment have enough, but concealment has health consequences, causing repression, tension, stress and frustration; Discretion must be a free option, not an imposition for fear of rejection, discrimination or loss of employment, in addition to identifying gender identity as a right. It is for this reason that the majority of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transsexuals and intersexes choose to be entrepreneurs and manage a business, this is an unfortunate act, since many of them may even have a doctorate, in such a way that their knowledge would contribute A lot in the workplace, and even then, due to the poor morale and ethics of those who hire staff, great potential and human talent for a company could be wasted. Due to the above, there are many LGBTI groups and collectives that day by day fight for their rights in all the context that surrounds them and mainly in the workplace, with health professionals, politics, culture, education, etc., and some have recognized their identity that strengthens their personality no matter what they say, but others still accept the public in their preferences for fear of rejection. However, in both cases and even with heterosexual people, your right to demonstrate your professionalism, abilities, knowledge and skills in the workplace must be respected, having a decent and respectable job.Item Relaciones tóxicas de pareja en estudiantes universitarios jóvenes(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2025-02-21) Chuquitarco Chicaiza, Jeaneth Estefanía; Paredes Ruiz, Teresa de JesúsThe objective of this research was to determine the predominant factors of toxic relationships in young university students.
