dc.descriptionEl presente estudio enfocado en la personalidad y su relación con la funcionalidad familiar en adolescentes tuvo como objetivo identificar el vínculo de estas dosvariables en estudiantes de primero, segundo y tercer año de bachillerato de la UnidadEducativa Fiscomisional Tirso de Molina de la ciudad de Ambato, provincia de Tungurahua. Para ello se determinó como metodología basada en un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo bibliográfico, con diseño descriptivo, correlacional, noexperimental y transversal, mismo que permitieron obtener información relevante parael desarrollo del estudio, y para ello se trabajó con una población de 91 adolescentes de primero, segundo y tercero año de bachillerato. Para identificar la relación entre la personalidad y la funcionalidad familiar en adolescentes, se utilizó el cuestionario Factorial de Personalidad 16PF y Apgar familiar. Para el análisis de datos se utilizó el programa estadístico SPSS, que ayudó a generar datos estadísticos válidos para calcular el coeficiente de correlación de la prueba Rho de Spearman y el Chi cuadradode Pearson. Los resultados indicaron que no existe correlación entre: los rasgos de personalidad y funcionalidad familiar (P=0.605).es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe present study focused on personality and its relationship with family functionality in adolescents aimed to identify the link between these two variables in first, second and third year high school students of the Tirso de Molina Fiscomisional Educational Unit in the city of Ambato province of Tungurahua. For this, it was determined as a methodology based on a quantitative approach, of a bibliographic type, with a descriptive, correlational, non-experimental and cross-sectional design, which allowedobtaining relevant information for the development of the study, and for this we worked with a population of 91 adolescents. first, second and third year of high school.To identify the relationship between personality and family functionality in adolescents, the 16PF Personality Factor questionnaire and family Apgar were used. For data analysis, the statistical program SPSS was used, which helped to generate valid statistical data to calculate the correlation coefficient of the Spearman's Rho testand Pearson's Chi-square.
