The purpose of this study involves understanding how the application of biosecurity measures impacts the mental health of poultry leaders. The study was carried out under a quantitative, descriptive and correlational design that considered a population of 111 poultry entrepreneurs. Validated and reliable instruments were used with 43 items. By means of Spearman's coefficient, a moderate negative correlation (-0.407) was identified between the study variables. The dimension of internal biosecurity was highlighted as one of the most influential in the development of burnout syndrome. The results of the research showed the need to strengthen the implementation and management of biosecurity measures by poultry owners to improve productivity in their activities and promote their overall well-being.
