The research analyzes the commercial efficiency of poultry associations in the central zone of Ecuador, taking as a reference the organizational and structural elements that constitute their commercial system. The study is conducted due to the economic importance of the poultry sector and the need to understand how internal structure conditions the performance and competitive capacity of these organizations. The study aims to examine how the factors that make up the commercial structure relate to each other and how these interactions affect the functioning of the associations. Through the MICMAC method and the use of econometric models, the research seeks to understand the behavior of the commercial system and the way in which certain elements contribute to achieving higher levels of efficiency. The results reveal a fragile and dependent commercial structure, lacking internal articulating components, which makes it vulnerable to external factors. Likewise, internal management factors were identified that influence the probability of achieving greater commercial efficiency, confirming the need to strengthen the organizational structure to improve the sector's performance. Based on these findings, it is proposed to reinforce organizational processes, improve internal management, and promote a more coherent and less dependent commercial structure. It is suggested to optimize the registration and control of information and consolidate practices that strengthen the operational capacity of the associations. The research provides a methodological approach that combines structural analysis and econometric techniques, useful for guiding decisions and designing strategies to boost the competitiveness of the poultry sector.
