This thesis focused on the faculty of the School of Administrative Sciences at the Technical University of Ambato. The institution is currently seeking to strengthen its position through innovative and sustainable projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, contributing to the training of students capable of responding to the new demands of the market. For this reason, this study aims to analyze the level of knowledge, use, and integration of generative AI and sustainable marketing among the faculty of the School of Administrative Sciences. This will allow for measuring their relationship using statistical techniques and proposing improvement actions. The results indicate that, of the 52 active faculty members, 84.6% are knowledgeable about generative AI tools and 76.9% frequently use them for productivity purposes. Regarding the implementation of sustainable marketing, 61.5% incorporate environmental sustainability activities, and 38.5% occasionally incorporate environmental sustainability criteria into academic projects. The Spearman correlation between the two variables was (rho = 0.502, p < 0.001), indicating a moderate and statistically significant positive correlation. It is concluded that, while there is a positive relationship between the two variables, systematic training is required when adopting these tools to ensure their ethical and responsible use, thereby ensuring that the faculty is aligned with the ODS and pedagogical innovation. This made it possible to develop a proposal for improvement focused on pedagogical innovation and social responsibility.
