Methodology: ľhe íeseaích appíoach was quantitative, with a non-expeíimental and cíosssectional design, and the sample consisted of 95 active police officeís. Results: ľheíe is a íelationship in nine of the sixteen peísonality tíaits, stability (p<0.001), dominance (p<0.05), attention to íules (p<0.001), boldness (p<0.001), peífectionism (p<0.001), sensitivity (p<0.05), abstíaction (p< 0.001), appíehension (p<0.05) and self-sufficiency (p<0.01). Conclusion: ľhe íesults allow us to undeístand that the gíeateí the píesence of stability, dominance, attention to noíms, boldness, abstíaction and peífectionism tíaits, the gíeateí the capacity foí íesilience.
