Descripción :	ľhe píesent study was caííied out in membeís of the National Police Distíict - San Loíenzo, who, due to theií píofessional duties, píesent diffeíent paíticulaí situations in the development of theií woík and in tuín seek measuíes and stíategies to be able to face each of the adveíse situations in theií woík íole. Objective: ľo deteímine the íelationship between peísonality tíaits and íesilience in mem beís of the police. Methodology: ľhe íeseaích appíoach was quantitative, with a non-expeíimental and cíosssectional design, and the sample consisted of 95 active police officeís. Results: ľheíe is a íelationship in nine of the sixteen peísonality tíaits, stability (p<0.001), dominance (p<0.05), attention to íules (p<0.001), boldness (p<0.001), peífectionism (p<0.001), sensitivity (p<0.05), abstíaction (p< 0.001), appíehension (p<0.05) and self-sufficiency (p<0.01). Conclusion: ľhe íesults allow us to undeístand that the gíeateí the píesence of stability, dominance, attention to noíms, boldness, abstíaction and peífectionism tíaits, the gíeateí the capacity foí íesilience. Wheíeas, the gíeateí the píesence of tíaits of sensitivity, abstíaction,appíehension and self-sufficiency, the loweí the íesilience capacity
