Description: | Recruitment marketing in recent years has gained relevance due to the support in the personnel selection processes, where the tourism sector is not alien to this evolution, and more so, during the COVID-19 pandemic; Since in the 2, 3 and 4-star hotels in zone 3 they do not carry out personnel recruitment processes through digital means and their strategies were focused on digital marketing to attract customers, but leaving aside the employees. Precisely for this reason, the primary objective of this research was to define a recruitment marketing strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic in the tourism sector of zone 3-Ecuador; that allows to adequately recruit staff in different areas of the hotel sector during the global health crisis. The results showed three sections: the current situation of the hotels from the applied surveys, the statistical analysis through the Kolmogorov-Smirnov data normality test and the non-parametric Chi-Square test to verify the assumptions, and finally, the recruiting marketing strategy. It is highlighted that in the third section of results, a recruitment marketing strategy is proposed during the COVID-19 pandemic for the tourism sector. In the first instance, based on the framework made, 4 phases were established with their respective stages: 1.- Initial characterization or Planning, 2.- Recruitment, 3.- Socialization in the company and 4.- Monitoring and control of the new workers. |
