(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Posgrado, Maestría en Trabajo Social, 2018-03) Martínez Núñez, Ruth Marlene; García Serrano, Irma Galuth
The purpose of the present study was to identify the conflicts of female single-parent families and their influence on the family life cycle of children of school age, of the SanJosé Board of the Metropolitan District of Quito, Pichincha Province. For this, the methodology used was descriptive, based on a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental and transversal design, which seeks to expand knowledge about the causes and conflicts of these family structures in a context of vulnerability of their rights. To collect the data, 114 leaders of the families studied were used as techniques, documentary analysis and survey. The results show that all single-parent families have a female head of household, of whom 50% show limited knowledge of institutions that could support them in their situation of vulnerability and guarantee the protection of their rights. On the basis of the statistical results, it was possible to confirm the hypothesis that the conflicts of the female single-parent families negatively influence the family life cycle of their children at school age, especially in their affective area. Finally, the research includes the design of an orientation guide to strengthen technical capacities that benefit the social inclusion of female single-parent xvii families.

(2015) Haro Lara., Aída Patricia; Quiroga López, Malena Karina, Lcda. Mg
In recent times the elderly has become a source of concern for public and private bodies, playing a major role state involvement as a benefactor to the abandonment, loneliness, disease and also as a synonym for unpaid investment in those considers that the single projection has is death. If we look into a mirror and project our future in the reality of wrinkles, and looking back a fair will evoke all those generations who have fallen behind, who through oral transmission have contributed to the formation of humans and through these communities. The ONU has addressed this issue and states the elderly as intangible cultural heritage for its oral transmission through different manifestations such as music, poetry, stories, myths, traditions, agricultural, handicraft, etc. and other aspects rather than constitute the very essence of a community.
