The research has a qualitative approach applied through a semi-structured interview with a population of four savings and credit cooperatives in the province of Cotopaxi. Two interview scripts were used, consisting of 15 questions each. The first script was directed towards managers, and the second towards those responsible for implementing CSR. The research level is descriptive, using the analytical-synthetic and inductive method. As a research finding, it was determined that only one out of the four investigated savings and credit cooperatives complies with Corporate Social Responsibility, one partially complies, and the remaining two do not comply at all.
