Item La enseñanza de la comunicación en tiempo de la inteligencia artificial: Reflexiones epistemológicas sobre un futuro incierto”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación, 2026-01-21) Mora Jiménez, Paula Daniela; Brito Alvarado, Leonardo XavierThe research examines how artificial intelligence (AI) is progressively and rapidly transforming the teaching of communication, as well as the effects these changes have on the ways knowledge is learned, taught, and constructed within higher education institutions. The study is based on the understanding that AI not only introduces new technological tools but also reshapes pedagogical dynamics, the traditional roles of teachers and students, and the very conception of the educational process in the field of communication. A qualitative approach was adopted for the development of the research, using focus groups as the primary data collection method. Through this methodology, perceptions, experiences, and reflections of university students and lecturers were gathered regarding the use of intelligent technological tools in the classroom. The findings indicate that AI significantly contributes to the personalization of leaming, optimizes the time devoted to academic tasks, and facilitates access to information and educational resources. However, the study also highlights emerging risks and tensions, such as increasing technological dependence, the potential reduction of spaces for critical reflection and analytical thinking, and the redefinition of the communicator's role in an environment mediated by automated systems. In this regard, the research argues that Al is revolutionizing pedagogical practices and calls for rethinking communication as an academic discipline. Finally, the study opens a fundamental debate on the boundaries between the human and the automated in teaching, encouraging critical reflection on the future of communication education.Item La innovación tecnológica en la agricultura tradicional y la protección al derecho al trabajo(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Derecho, 2025-08-05) Gomez Pila, Carlos Daniel; Masabanda Analuiza, Galo IvánThe right to work is a fundamental human right that must be fully fulfilled in order to guarantee every worker the right to a dignified life. Therefore, in Ecuador, all forms of provision or exercise of an economic or productive activity that allow them to have an income for their livelihood are constitutionally recognized. It is important that, even more so as we are experiencing the rise of the technological era compared to traditional labor, there is a perceived risk due to technological innovation in traditional agricultural work. Therefore, the research's main objective is to demonstrate how the application of technological innovation in traditional agriculture would guarantee the protection of the right to work in the province of Cotopaxi. To this end, an explanatory study is applied, supported by a qualitative-quantitative methodology, combining a bibliographic review, as well as surveys of agricultural workers and interviews with various professionals. This line of research focuses on public policy, law, and society. The research focuses on labor and environmental law, and public policies that promote the responsible use of agricultural machinery, ensuring the protection of the right to work. The final result demonstrates that the application of technological innovation in agricultural work has affected workers' labor and therefore jeopardizes the protection of the right to work, especially for subordinates or dependents. The conclusion is that the Ecuadorian State should establish public policies that effectively guarantee this fundamental right, namely, the right to work.
