Item Motivaciones y riesgos del sexting en estudiantes universitarios(Universidad Técnica de Ambato,Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2022-04) Masaquiza Quispilema, José Luis; Soto Dávila, Omar FabricioThe development of ICTs modifies the interaction of people in the sexual sphere. The phenomenon of sexting consists of the exchange of sexual material through instant messaging tools or social networks, within a relationship that is not necessarily affective. This practice is an element of sexual expression and communication that has been normalized with the rise of digital environments, but that carries risks such as non-consensual dissemination of content to third parties, cyberbullying, grooming, extortion. For this reason, in the present work it is proposed to analyze the motivations and risks that the practice of this phenomenon entails, as well as its normalization within the sentimental scope of a couple or casual. The methodology used is quantitative, with data collection through an online questionnaire. The survey is based on the previously validated SBS (Sexting Behavior Scales). During the investigation it is identified that the term "sexting" is not known by the entire population studied, but they are aware of the elements that make it up. It is also highlighted that all the respondents have ever practiced sexting, either actively or passively.Item Comunicación familiar y grooming en los adolescentes de los segundos de bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa Picaihua del Cantón Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2017-05) Freire Torres, Alex Javier; Espín Miniguano, AnitaThe present research aims to determine if the levels of family communication influence the appearance of grooming, since the presence of this social phenomenon is gradually presented in educational institutions, causing bleak transformations with negative consequences in the lives of victims and of their families, that is why a didactic proposal is presented that will facilitate the work of the professionals of the Department of Student Counseling (DECE) in its action in the face of the emergence of this problem. The methodology that was used in the research was quantitative to know through the application of surveys based on a questionnaire, the incidence and vulnerability of students who frequently use social networks and know for sure if they have been, are or can reach to be victims of grooming, this through the statistical data obtained where they will value aspects of the adolescent and his family, their relationship, affinity, knowledge regarding the responsible use of social networks, etc. It was determined that the socio-critical paradigm is the fundamental one to carry out the study because the students and their relatives are the authors and generators of the change of their current realities based on their needs, those of mitigating grooming based on the generation of new and better socio-affective relationships inside and outside the home, also managing with total responsibility the use of social networks fostering trust between parents and children allowing each other to know about their activities within the virtual world. At the end of the research, a proposal is generated that consists in the creation of a guide to prevention and fight against grooming in the Unidad Educativa Picaihua, because it is considered that with this guide can improve in a certain way the quality of life of students and provide a situation of well-being to them and their families, progressively increasing levels of confidence, timely action and demonstrating to the outside that they are a pioneering Educational Unit in the mitigation of this social problem.
