This research is part of a research project approved by CONIN: UTA-CONIN-2023-0234-R. The main objective of the research is to determine how power influences justice decisionmaking in the Huapante Grande Commune, addressing concepts such as the distribution and types of power present in the community context, as well as the predominant type of justice in conflict resolution. To achieve these objectives, a mixed methodological approach was adopted, which combined quantitative and qualitative techniques. In the quantitative field, a structured 22-item questionnaire was applied to the inhabitants of the commune, evaluating dimensions such as power and justice using a Likert scale. In the qualitative field, in-depth interviews were conducted with community leaders. These tools made it possible to collect information on the inhabitants' perception regarding community participation, transparency and equity in conflict resolution. Among the main results, it was identified that power in the Huapante Grande Commune is concentrated in certain key actors, including community leaders and influential families. Likewise, it was observed that, although the community values community justice mechanisms, perceptions of inequality and lack of transparency in some processes persist. The research also revealed a significant influence of cultural and social factors in the administration of justice. The conclusions highlight the need to promote more inclusive and participatory practices to guarantee an equitable justice system that reflects the needs and values of the community. In addition, the importance of strengthening the capacities of community leaders to administer justice in a transparent and effective manner is underlined. This study represents a significant contribution to the understanding of the interactions between power and justice in community contexts, offering guidelines to improve local justice systems and foster social cohesion.Item La remisión de los tributos y la aplicación del principio de equidad tributaria en el Ecuador(Universidad Tècnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Derecho, 2024-02) Ruiz Toaza, Odalis Carolina; Vayas Castro, Guillermo SantiagoThis research topic seeks to deepen and explain what Tax Remission consists of and how it affects the impact of the Principle of Tax Equity established in the country, thus in a general concept the importance of this topic is deduced, since it addresses key aspects such as economic relief, equity in the distribution of taxes, the impact on tax collection and social development, fundamental aspects to promote a fair and efficient tax system, which contributes to the well-being of citizens and economic growth. from the country. Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Unidad de Posgrado, Maestria en Derecho Constitucional, 2021-01) Chulco Lema, Byron Javier; Ilaquiche Licta, Raúl ClementeAffirmative actions are determined in our Constitution as policies aimed at creating equality and equity. In this sense, the State, in its actions to achieve these principles, it has implemented the mandatory application of the same in both such as a public and private spheres, expecting this to include groups considered historically discriminated against in our country. In this sense, the present investigation searches to determine if the application of affirmative actions allows formal and material equality by State objective. Likewise, it seeks to verify to what extent the people belong to a minority group are underestimated, exposing the thesis that they will not be able to achieve something without state aid. Within this framework, observe that affirmative actions seek to create equality through differentiation. The application of affirmative ethnic actions applied to both the workplace and education in our country, generates situations of equity and equality only at the starting points, but it does not ensure situations of permanence, which would help to achieve in a real way the guarantee of accomplishment with constitutional principles. Therefore, we can conclude that the fact of benefiting from a cultural and historical differentiation results in greater processes of exclusion and inequality. Within this framework, we may establish that the social impact generated by the application of Affirmative Actions has not been analyzed or taken into account. Such is the case that can be considered as differentiating actions between citizens. However, it is more accurate to opt for policies that emphasize ensuring that people belonging to an ethnic group benefit from affirmative actions within the educational field, with equal access and a guarantee of completing a degree that later becomes the axis that contributes to inclusion of it in the workplaceItem Las políticas públicas de ingreso a las instituciones de educación superior y el derecho constitucional a la educación en Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Similarly, it has been considered important to review how various constitutions such as those of Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Venezuela, among others, have included education as a fundamental and very important right for the development of society. In this context, we should also investigate how the Ecuadorian State, through its educational policies, intends to guarantee the right to education versus its application in Latin America in order to compare whether or not there is an application to equal opportunities that should be recognized when accessing university studies. The same applies to the analysis of international instruments that guarantee equal access.Item Análisis sobre el uso del sexismo linguistico en la información de la sección La Patrulla del medio impreso el Ambateño(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Posgrado, Maestría en Comunicación, Desarrollo y Cambio Social, 2019-06) Pozo Rodríguez, Andrea Lissette; Vayas Ruíz, Eliza CarolinaThe human being is an entity capable of communicating and interacting being part of the causes and effects of society, for which humanity has seen the need to create an effective system of transmission of knowledge such as language, which not only serves as an entity of communication and transmission of information, but also through it human beings interpret the reality that surrounds them. In the use of language is the starting point to determine the thinking of people and what can generate the formation of gender stereotypes, therefore, the language is not sexist, as it has masculine, feminine and neutral, however, people are those who give it a sexist use. This contribution exhibits, in part, a reality about the use of sexist language that exists in print media and its relationship with the difficulties of generating an inclusive language by communication professionals. It gathers interesting criteria on topics inherent to language and gender, which point to an adequate use of language with different writing strategies that do not affect the traditional journalistic writing system, with which stereotypes, generics, marked forms of androcentrism and concealment of women can be reduced, among other aspects that generate sexist language, and thus comply with the precept established in the Constitution that dictates equality of opportunity for women and men. The journalistic notes of the La Patrulla section of the newspaper El Ambateño were identified, based on a quantitative analysis obtained from a bibliographic analysis and compilation. The purpose was to analyze and know the incidence of the use of sexist language in the printed media as a reference of the traditional media. From these results are concluded certain recommendations that give way to the proposal and that aspires to become a research tool for future analysis of the use of sexist language. Among what stands out as a fundamental point within these actions is the methodological model for case studies in texts, which aims to provide a series of steps to follow in an organized and systematic way that reflect the analysis of the text chosen by the researcher.Item El ejercicio profesional y la equidad de género en la producción de los programas televisivos de Ambavisión(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2018-11) Flores Díaz, Irene Alexandra; Ortega Arcos, WagnerThe professional practice and gender equity in the production of those in the production of television programs of Ambavisión".
