    The research project “Impact of effective communication in the significant learning process of the students of the educational unit ‘Coronel Germánico Rivadeneira Valencia’, explores how effective communication during the learning process is necessary and has an important impact on students' academic development. In particular, focuses on the impact of effective communication that teachers use to reach appropriate learning. The justification for the study is based on the importance of a good climate of trust, analysis of the learning they possess and the interest they generate, so that, in general, the objective of meaningful learning can be achieved. This research underlines the importance of aspects necessary for good communication such as building trust, providing adequate space and the correct use of voice modulation. It is appropriate to inquire into the student's prior knowledge in order to achieve a strategic starting point. The study used a field research methodology with a quantitative and qualitative approach, surveys were applied in order to collect data and important information for the development of the work. The results show that the majority of respondents consider that there is effective communication between teachers and students, which evidently leads to meaningful learning, i.e., they consider the teacher's communication to be adequate in the classroom, so that the knowledge is generated correctly for the development in a wide academic environment. For its part, common communication barriers are lack of interest and distraction, Therefore, it is necessary to maintain a constant interaction between the teacher-student in order to achieve the objective of meaningful learning

    La mediación familiara y el desarrollo de una cultura de paz en la ciudad de Ambato

    La importancia que actualmente está tomado la mediación como método alternativo de solución de conflictos en nuestro país, es importante destacar la mediación familiar. En este contexto, el objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar el desarrollo de una cultura de paz en la ciudad de Ambato promoviendo a la mediación como la primera alternativa para solucionar conflictos intrafamiliares, dando la oportunidad a ambas parte de ganar, ganar y que ellos sean los constructores de sus propias vidas. Los resultados recolectados en la investigación determinan que la falta de conocimiento de métodos alternativos como la mediación familiar encamina a resolver los conflictos de la forma tradicional que es el litigio. En la propuesta se tiene previsto crear una página web con su aplicación para celulares, donde las personas conozcan sobre la mediación familiar y sus ventajas y así fomentar la cultura de paz.The importance that is currently taking mediation as an alternative method of dispute resolution in our country, it is important family mediation. In this context, the aim of this work is to study the development of a culture of peace in the city of Ambato promoting mediation as the first alternative to solve domestic conflict, providing an opportunity for both parties win win and that they are the builders of their own lives. The results collected in the investigation determined that the lack of knowledge of alternative methods such as family mediation routed to resolve conflicts in the traditional way that is the case. The proposal intends to create a web page with its mobile app, where people know about family mediation and its benefits, and foster a culture of peace.
