Item La fotografía mediática y el ejercicio de poder: caso paro junio 2022 en la red social Facebook(Universidad Tècnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicaciòn, 2023-03) Ávila Moreno, Nory Yolet; Martinez Bonilla, Carlos AlbertoThe research is part of the NETNOGRAPHY AND DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONIN TIMES OF PANDEMIC AND/O POSPANDEMIC COVID 2019 Research Project, which aimed to analyze media photography as an exercise of power on the social network Facebook during the June 2020-2022 strike. The categories on media photography, exercise of power, social network Facebook conceptualized. Methodologically, the research adopted a qualitative approach, recognizing the dialogic and participatory interaction with the population studied from the shared useof messages of common interpretations to build the new knowledge supported by digital ethnography. The mixed or qualitative-quantitative approach was present for the elaboration, application, statistical processing and analysis and interpretation of theanswers given to the survey applied to Facebook users contacted by the author, and who reside in the city of Ambato and Latacunga. The main conclusions presented in the research work, were that media photography has a direct impact on the phenomena of social manifestation from the exercise of power that, is carried out, which does notalways coincide with the interests of the majority of people who observe it; in turn, theexercise of power through media photography on the social network Facebook is currently exercised independently and freely based on the purpose established by whoever publishes it, regardless of ideologies or previously designed programs; and finally that media photography does generate a full exercise of power in the social network Facebook according to the attitude, emotions, feelings and reactions that its users expressItem El consumo de información de los seguidores del Diario el Heraldo de Ambato en su red social Facebook(Universida Técnica de Ambato,Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales,Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2022-10) Zurita Ruano, Erika Thalía; Guamán Guadalima, Nelly GabrielaABSTRACT The media of the 21st century have adapted to digital journalism due to the advantages offered by the Internet, such as interactivity, the tools offered by platforms for better management of publications and instant communication. The consumption of information by users is of the utmost importance for these communication media that have migrated to the networks, to achieve interactivity with their followers so that there are comments on their publications and thus be able to reach more users.diario El Heraldo de Ambato has its social network on Facebook in which they publish daily and have 58,697 followers who view their publications. In this context, the objective of this research is to analyze the level of information consumption of the followers of the newspaper El Heraldo de Ambato on its social network Facebook. To do this, the quantitative methodology with metrics on the web was used to measure the statistical data of the social network, surveys were also conducted to 382 followers of the media in analysis with questions about the consumption of information from the newspaper in its social network Facebook. Among the data obtained it is evident that there is a high consumption of information of the followers of the newspaper in its social network Facebook and consequently it becomes one of the means of communication most used by people to inform themselves.Item El contenido informativo de los memes y la credibilidad en los usuarios de la red social Facebook del diario “El Comercio(Universidad Técnica de Ambato,Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2022-04) Machuca Acosta, Carol Estefanía; Guamán Guadalima, Nelly GabrielaNowadays, social networks have become a new media of mass distribution on the web, through them people can create, publish, interact and transmit information, causing traditional media such as print media, television and radio to migrate to these platforms and create virtual spaces, this has changed its traditional structure by an interactive, changing and dynamic process. This research aims to determine the credibility of users of the social network Facebook of the newspaper "El Comercio" against the informative content of memes disseminated by this medium, it is important to identify the type of content published by the newspaper "El Comercio" and if this influences positively or negatively on its readers. To conduct this research, a quantitative approach was used, with which it was possible to analyze and predict the behavior of the population through quantifiable information, i.e., that could be expressed through numbers and verified. In addition, a virtual survey was applied to 190 people through non-probabilistic "snowball" sampling. Through the content analysis on the 25 publications with informative memes of the newspaper "El Comercio" disseminated by the social network Facebook in the date January-March 2021, it was determined that its genre is 100% informative with topics of health, politics, science and culture, in addition, the memes exposed in the publications are humorous, reflective and motivational, these are complemented by text and image. Through the virtual survey it was determined that 73.7% of people use the newspaper "El Comercio" for information through the social network Facebook, they believe that the use of memes to inform is interesting, attractive and educational on the other hand, when seeing this type of content, respondents would review the page that spreads the news.Item La información sobre migrantes, y la opinión pública, en la red social Facebook del diario La Hora(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2021-08) Julissa Ivet, Chida Cortez; Viteri Torres, Walter FranciscoThe purpose of this research is to determine whether the information about migrants and public opinion in Facebook social network of “Diario La Hora”, in Ambato, is aimed at xenophobia. This research will be carried out specifically based on the news titled “Begging to come back to Venezuela”, issued by the media. Initially, a content analysis was carried out about the reactions, comments and shares in Facebook, where a high number of users refer apathetically to Venezuelan migrants, by using a certain negative lexicon. Therefore, a quantitative methodology of the content analysis was applied for obtaining data, by the Web, in order to reinforce the research. Thus, within social networks, memes have become a trend that I could not miss, through these the opinion of people is expressed on a topic that is in trend, but with a satirical touch; This is not new, because memes are the result of the evolution of the pamphlets and posters that people used to express their ideas, before the appearance of the internet and social networks. Thus, this research aims to determine the message contained in the memes published on the social network Twitter during the October 2019 mobilizations in Ecuador, as well as to identify and analyze their content. For which, several authors and investigations have been taken into account where the importance of memes in social networks is reflected during important events that are immersed in various aspects such as politics. Today memes and social networks are important in the communication process, especially with regard to representing public opinion while developing a momentous event or event for a country. Disturbing the relationships between parents and children, when the emotional ties of a family are ending, generating new social problems. The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of family communication on social support in the students of the first year of the Educational "Hispano America" high school, from Ambato, Tungurahua Province. One a survey was applied structured by two validated questionnaires that respond to the population in studies, the methods and the levels of investigation proposed. The correlational analysis was carried out, giving as a result that family communication does influence the social support received by a teenager. Especially, the dialogue with the mother, since this depends on the decisions she makes about her personal life and how she accepts herself within society. However, the dialogue with the father is fundamental in the development of a person, because the decisions he makes about his sentimental, social and academic life are influenced by the communication established with the father. Being this one of minor correlation and importance for the surveyed. Therefore, the dialogue with the father should be worked through social intervention, thus proposing a school for parents within the Institution, where the direct beneficiaries will be the students and their families, and the indirect ones the authorities and teachers of the institution.Item El uso de la red social Facebook y el carácter en los estudiantes de octavo y decimo año de la Unidad Educativa Naciones Unidas del Cantón Pelileo Provincia de Tungurahua(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2018-01) Pillapa Machuca, Daniela Marcela; Paredes Ruíz, Teresa de JesusThe use of social networks is changing the dynamics of life. Facebook constitutes a space of communication where diverse cultures and ideologies converge. Patterns of behavior, social relations, traditions, communication, business, education, among others, a number of activities that contribute mostly to the development and growth of the individual. Virtual sociability especially captures adolescents, who, because they are in a formative stage, have been susceptible to the contents disseminated in this network. The phenomenon occurs because on Facebook they find the right route to meet their age-specific needs, including social recognition, according to the study conducted students who spend 4 to 5 hours a day on social networks, commenting, publishing photos, songs interacting with their friends and virtual friends, which generates a dependence on the internet and especially the Facebook network that having direct demotivations its character is affected, having abrupt changes in the generation including verbal and physical attacks. To collect the information described in the study, resources such as surveys were used, which transmit the incidence of the social network Facebook in the character of the eighth and tenth year students of the United Nations Educational Unit of Pelileo canton, Tungurahua province The research reflects how Facebook regulates, determines rules, creates habits and routines in adolescents, through chat, photos, comments, videos, applications, and diversity of pages. Due to changes in behavior is generated specifically in the character that later affects their social formation.
