    El derecho a la libertad de expresión: análisis del caso radio pichincha universal

    The right to freedom of expression is a fundamental element within society, it guarantees that there is a fair and balanced democracy in the different countries, so that the population when exercising this right can express themselves freely about the different events, being a right enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, it is guaranteed and safeguarded by the State, which ensures that there will be no reprisals when exercising it. There are international organizations that protect this right, even cataloging it as fundamental for individuals. Therefore, the objective of the research is to carefully analyze the national regulations in Ecuador such as conventions and treaties issued by international entities that safeguard freedom of expression, in addition to analyzing an emblematic case in the country "Radio Pichincha Universal". For this reason, the qualitative methodology was used, employing an analytical, explanatory approach, based on secondary sources to obtain information on the subject. Through the investigation, it is concluded that despite the fact that Freedom of Expression is a fundamental human right and is enshrined in regulations such as the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador and international regulations, it has been violated not only by the Ecuadorian State but even by other countries, since in some way citizen opinion does not benefit the government in power, thus generating reprisals towards the media with the aim of closing them down and not allowing them to disseminate their opinions

    La Casa de Papel y las narraciones geopolíticas del capitalismo

    Without a doubt, the political and economic model of capitalism has a significant component in media seduction, as Max Horkheimer and Theodor Adorno (1998) proposed in the cultural industries. This is how the audiovisual industries create powerful communicational products intended to seduce the population within the imaginaries of capitalism. However, among these productions, there are several aimed at creating a critique of capitalism without losing the element of seduction, such as the Netflix series La Casa de Papel (2017), which denounces banking abuses, the geopolitical situations the world faces, and the economic policies of states. It creates a story where the robbers become the heroes and the governments the culprits, giving a twist to the narrative. Research in audiovisual narratives is necessary not only to understand the quantity of stories present but also to analyze the discourses within them to reflect on the societies we inhabit. Hence the interest in investigating these seductive narratives present in TV and streaming series. This research is significant and relevant due to the lack of internal analysis given to the content consumed, where the internal meaning is not examined. In this case, direct messages criticizing capitalism are analyzed. The objectives allow for an extensive and deeper analysis of the series through chosen variables such as political Manichaeism and all that geopolitical context entails. The methodology, through narrative analysis and the aid of matrices, allows for a graphical analysis, detecting symbols. On the other hand, the narrative is analyzed through contexts and dialogues, including flashbacks and the series' songs, which, upon analysis, reveal that these elements also carry messages and critiques

    This research aimed to investigate the use of audiovisual media in different educational environments. Its particular purpose is to obtain broad and specific information on the subject. In this way, we can plan and develop a well-founded research work. Based on questions in relation to planning and guidance to teachers in the presentation of audiovisual media. Under this premise, multiple answers and different approaches to solve this question will be exposed. It will also proceed with a broad qualitative and quantitative analysis of a certain target group, which will demonstrate the virtues and advantages of audiovisual resources in educational centers, but will also reveal what the shortcomings would be from the different approaches.
