Item Habilidades blandas y el estrés laboral en choferes de la Cooperativa Expreso Baños(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2026-07-07) Chiliquinga Sifas, Angela Aracely; Naranjo Ruiz, Viviana FidenciaThis thesis was developed with the objective of determining the influence of soft skills on job stress in drivers of the Expreso Baños cooperative. It employs a non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, bibliographic, and field design. A structured survey was used as the data collection technique, and a Likert-scale questionnaire served as the instrument to determine soft skills and their impact on job stress. The sample size was selected non-statistically at the researcher's convenience and consisted of 40 active drivers at the time of the instrument's application. The correlation analysis shows an inverse relationship between soft skills and job stress, indicating that greater development of soft skills is associated with lower levels of job stress in the evaluated workers. Furthermore, the significance level confirms that the relationship is statistically significant. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (H1), which states that soft skills influence the development of job stress, is accepted. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H0), which states that soft skills do not affect work-related stress, is rejected. Consequently, it is concluded that, although adequate levels of soft skills predominate, limitations still exist that can affect workplace interaction and coping with stressful situation
