    The objective of the research work deals with the management of purchases as a determining factor in the control of inventories of the sports training sector, in order to make known the importance of these instruments, so that in this way greater growth is obtained in the area of purchasing management, for which, starting from the knowledge of the problem, through exploratory research, then the behavior of the same was determined in the institution, through descriptive research and the incidence of the independent variable on the dependent, the same one that was made through correlational research; In addition, the survey was applied, which was validated using the Cronbach Alpha Method in the SPSS Program and the survey directed to the Coaches, Monitors and Administrative Staff of the Tungurahua Provincial Sports Federation, then applying the Pearson method for a better result. , each of the variables was operationalized, from the basic items where the pertinent conclusions were obtained, for which the Purchasing Management Process was established that allows inventory control for the presentation uniforms of athletes in the Tungurahua Sports Federation.
