This research addresses the challenges faced by the company Fabricación de Calzado GOB, which experiences difficulties in determining its production costs due to the use of traditional methods based on spreadsheets and physical records. These practices generate errors, delays, and negatively affect competitiveness in a sector characterized by high demand and the presence of imported products. The main objective is to implement an information system using .NET technology to accurately analyze production costs in the footwear line. The proposal is supported by a systematic review of national and international literature on costing methodologies and the impact of information technologies on industrial processes. The developed system integrates modules for information recording, relies on a SQL Server 2019 Express database, and is built in Visual Studio Community 2022. The agile methodology Kanban is applied, facilitating work organization and adaptation to changes during development. Functional, integration, performance, and usability tests confirm the reliability of the solution. The results show that the system optimizes unit cost calculation and improves information traceability. It is concluded that the proposal constitutes a technological contribution that increases efficiency and profitability, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the company within the Ecuadorian footwear sector.Item type:Ítem, Sistema de gestión por procesos sostenible en el área de producción en la empresa Milplast Cia. Ltda.(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial, 2024-08) ;López Zurita, Washington LeandroTigre Ortega, Franklin GeovannyThis research work was carried out at Milplast Cia. Ltda., a company dedicated to the production of shoe soles that faced problems affecting its productivity, such as non-standardized processes, inefficient management of information and inventories, and non-optimized production times. The lack of mixing recipes and machine configuration parameters caused quality variability and downtime, and inadequate waste management and performance indicators hindered continuous improvement. The objective was to develop a process management model to improve Milplast's productivity, integrating circular economy principles. An ABC stratification of products was carried out to identify the most relevant products, the documentation of the main processes (milling, fine-tuning, injection, packaging), the creation of detailed sheets for each process. A time study was also carried out and waste was characterized for final disposal. Qualitative and quantitative methods were used to obtain a comprehensive understanding. Interviews and observations were conducted to document the processes, and data analysis was performed to understand the company's performance. In addition, a literature review on process management, field research with visits and on-floor observation of the process were conducted. The results were consolidated into a process manual with clear objectives, precise definitions and detailed flow charts. Improvements such as the implementation of a Kardex system, recipe standardization and machine configuration were proposed, which could increase production by 5% and facilitate Milplast's sustainable growth. Carrera de Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales e Informáticos, 2023-09) ;Barba Altamirano, Dennis AlexanderNaranjo Ávalos, Hernán FabricioThe COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant global impact in various social, economic, and technological aspects. Many companies have disappeared because of the crisis, while others have managed to survive thanks to their innovative capabilities, focused on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). E-commerce became a fundamental tool for companies during the COVID-19 pandemic since it allowed them to promote their products and services and maintain the flow of sales. Another added benefit was also the opportunity to collect valuable information about customers, such as their purchasing preferences, online behavior, comments, and product reviews. The footwear industry in emerging economies is taking advantage of (ICTs) to improve the management of their processes and increase their efficiency. In this sense, electronic commerce has become a fundamental pillar, allowing better interaction with customers and greater expansion in the global market. This project is an e-commerce web application that allows shoe producers to sell their products online and improve their sales force, with this free tool. The program is created using Webassembly with the C# programming language through Blazor, which are a set of tools that allow the creation of web applications. The agile methodology called Extreme Programming or XP was used to carry out the project creation process.
