This research aimed to propose low-cost educational technological resources to strengthen the digital literacy of students at the Alfonsina Storni Educational Unit, located in the rural parish of Unamuncho, Ambato. The study was carried out using a quantitative, descriptive, and documentary approach, supported by fieldwork. To collect information, a survey was applied to students and an interview was conducted with the school authority in order to identify the existing technological conditions and the difficulties related to access and use of digital resources. The results showed limitations in connectivity, use of educational platforms, and digital skills. It was found that 43.86% of the students have difficulties accessing the internet and 57.90% have limitations in the use of digital tools for academic activities, showing the need to improve access to and use of technological resources in the educational environment. Based on these findings, low-cost technological alternatives were analyzed, including free software, refurbished equipment, and platforms accessible through a web browser. A technological model based on Moodle, a local server, and an internal network was proposed, taking advantage of existing technological resources to ensure operation and accessibility. The economic analysis showed that the reuse of equipment and the use of free software are viable alternatives for educational contexts with limited resources. It was concluded that the proposal represents a technical, economic, and sustainable solution to strengthen digital literacy and help reduce the digital divide in rural environments.
