    The purpose of this research work was to develop a technical management plan for mechanical risks for the machining area of the company GT Rectificadora, which sought to strengthen current safety conditions and reduce the exposure of workers to mechanical hazards. The research was carried out due to the presence of unsafe conditions during machinery operation, exposure to rotating systems, and the use of cutting tools during the grinding process. To analyze the current situation of the company, a checklist was applied whose regulations were based on questionnaires provided by the INSST, where 3 categories were evaluated: tools, machinery and the work environment, where the results reflected a 60% non-compliance in tool criteria, 71% in machinery and 100% in work environment, highlighting mainly the non-compliance in the machinery category due to the absence of physical guards, maintenance and safe procedures. For the estimation and evaluation of risk, methodologies such as GTC-45 and William T. Fine were used, which showed the presence of high criticality risk, such as impacts, cuts, entrapment, and projection of particles in grinding, turning, and honing operations. Thus, a management plan to prevent mechanical risks was proposed, incorporating engineering, administrative, and PPE controls for the identified risk to prevent accidents in the work area.
