    This research project examines the methods and measurement of work in the post-harvest process of FAVEL FLOWERS EXPORT, a company dedicated to the production and export of the summer wallflower in its wide variety of colors. The importance of a detailed analysis of the activities involved in the process, reducing execution times, and improving workflow, is emphasized. To this end, the process stages were identified: reception, preparation, hydration, and packaging, establishing standard times for processing wallflower bunches. The production stages were analyzed through the application of data collection techniques. Direct observation allowed for the development of documents related to the work method, such as flowcharts, synoptic diagrams, analytical diagrams, and human-machine diagrams. These tools facilitated the understanding of the activities at each stage and were essential for identifying inefficiencies, unproductive times, and opportunities for improvement. Based on the analysis of the current method and the development of the time study, potential opportunities for improvement were identified, focusing on the redistribution of activities, reducing downtime, and improving box assembly. As part of the proposal, the SMED methodology was applied in the packaging stage, identified as the bottleneck, and line balancing was implemented in the production process. These actions would allow the company to achieve an efficiency of 93.65%, representing an increase in productivity.
