The current investigation is directed to industrial facilities analysis and design. The goal of this study is to optimize the internal resources at Patollantas company dedicated to the commercialization of tires and auto parts to improve transitions and reduce transportation. The methodology of facility design problem [FLP] is taken as a reference, in which analysis it allows multiple factors study: human, physical space, transportation, etc. The reducing shipments approach was chosen by applying the physical layout of the adequate facilities of exhibitors and products on the counter themselves, which hinder and influence the generation of unnecessary and unproductive time. The FlexSim software was used for the simulation of the current comercialization process flow, as well as for the proposal. Productivity increased 400 percent with a plant distribution in a single plant and a reduction in operating time of 35.62% compared to currently employed.
