Evaluación de tres niveles de un regulador metabólico orgánico sobre los índices productivos y bioquímica sanguínea en pollos de engorde
(2023-03) Santana Moya, María Belén; Quinteros Pozo, Orlando Roberto
The experimentation was carried out to evaluate a metabolic regulator and how it can affect productive parameters and blood chemistry in broilers. This trial was carried out with the administration of 1 ml of metabolic regulator per liter of drinking water during the last 5 days of each stage in which the experiment was carried out (initial, growth and completion) and compared with the control group without the metabolic regulator. For this experiment, 300 birds were divided into four experimental units named T0, T1, T2, T3, each with three repetitions of 25 chicks. At the end of each stage, the necessary data were obtained to measure the productive parameters (initial weight, final weight, feed consumption, feed conversion, mortality) and blood chemistry with the objective of establishing the liver health of the birds by measuring the serum levels of ALT, AST, FA, GGTA, urea, cholesterol and triglycerides. Analysis of Variance and the Turkey Test were used for data analysis. Thus, the results obtained for the productive parameters are significant (P>0.05) for the initial stage or T1 with these results: weight gain of 183.45g, feed consumption 213.8g, Feed Conversion of 1.16 and a 0% mortality and in the growth stage or T3 with a weight gain of 300.29g, feed consumption of 561.36g, Feed Conversion of 1.53 and a 0% mortality, in the growth stage or T2 there was no significant difference with the product used with the following results: Weight gain of 240.12 g, feed consumption with 354.91gr, feed conversion of 1.48, and a mortality of 1.33%. Blood biochemistry results showed lower serum levels of AST, GGT, ALT, FA, which indicate that there is no liver damage compared to the control group

Valores de bioquímica sanguinea en atélidos de los géneros (Lagothrix y Ateles) en cautiverio en la provincia de Pastaza
(2021-01) Paredes Escobar, Mauricio Rolando; Villamarín Barragan, Darwin
In the present study, the blood biochemistry values of 22 primates of the Atelidae family of the species Lagothrix lagotricha lagotricha, Lagothrix lagotricha poeppigii, Ateles belzebuth, 14 females and 8 males in captivity, were distributed in the centers: Zoo Pastaza Selva Viva, The YanaCocha Wildlife Rescue Center and the Merazonia Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, located in the province of Pastaza; the animals were calmed with a combination of Tiletamine-Zolazepam; The samples were taken from the femoral vein, kept for 10 minutes at room temperature, refrigerated and transported to the clinical laboratory where the analysis was carried out with the ABAXIS® VetScan VS2 Chemical and Electrolytic Analyzer equipment; The ranges obtained for liver function and integrity are the following analytes: ALT (U / L) 32.41 ± 7.08; ALP (U / L) 158.64 ± 104.81; ALB (g / dL) 3.54 ± 0.54; TP (g / dL) 6.41 ± 0.82; TBIL (mg / dL) 0.47 ± 0.16; GLOB (g / dL) 2.87 ± 0.92; GLU (mg / dL) 91.27 ± 37.19. Kidney function and integrity range BUN (mg / dL) 8.32 ± 6.93 were also included; CRE (mg / dL) 0.55 ± 0.22; K + (mmol / L) 6.97 ± 1.15; Na + (mmol / L) 139.73 ± 2.19; Ca + (mg / dL) 9.37 ± 0.67; FOS (mg / dL) 3.93 ± 1.39; In addition, the value of pancreatic functionality was determined, which is Amylase AMY (U / L) 108 ± 70.37. It is concluded that the obtained values are similar with those analyzed with other authors, there were no significant statistical differences according to age group and sex; except for Amylase and Globulin in Lagothrix lagotricha poeppigii according to age group.

(2016) Bastidas Quispe, Bertha Verónica; Cuadrado Guevara, Camila Andrea
This investigation determined hematological and blood biochemistry values in 20 Monkeys Machines 11 male and 9 females of the species (white-fronted capuchin) in the province of Pastaza, Puyo city, in the sectors of the Parish Tarqui Zoo Tarqui; Parish August 10 Walk rescue center Monkey and Fatima Parish Yanacocha.- rescue center primates were anesthetized with a combination of Ketamine, Xylazine, intramuscularly using Yohimbine as revertor.- the samples were obtained by inserting a needle into the jugular vein using vacutainers with anticoagulant EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) for Hematology and without EDTA for Biochemistry sanguine.- Red Blood Cell count (GR) and White Blood Cells (GB) was performed using the Newbarguer, platelet count and differential staining using Wright, hemoglobin with cyanmethaemoglobin method; hematocrit (Ht) through micro-hematocrit and red cell indices values of red blood cells, hemoglobin and hematocrit.
