Item Diseño geométrico de la alternativa vial Shuyo – Pinllopata en el tramo km 4+000 – 8+000 perteneciente a los cantones Pujili y Pangua de la provincia de Cotopaxi(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2021-03) Uvidia Ortiz, Romel Iván; López Velástegui, Alex GustavoThe technical project presented below is the continuation of a study and information collection, conducted by a group of colleagues, in which he began with topographical studies, using modern equipment such as: RTK and Drone, in order to obtain the relief of the surface of the terrain to compare with the regulations and apply the methods in the determination of the layout. The project studied the volume of vehicle traffic, with the manual counting method during the seven days of the week starting on September 16-22, 2019, lasting 12 hours a day. The Annual Daily Average Traffic was obtained based on data obtained throughout this week in the traffic study, applying the thirty-hour method. Once all the data had been obtained both in the field and in the office, the methods and techniques based on the current Ecuadorian standard MTOP 2003 were applied to determine the different elements of the road based on design criteria, which were horizontal alignment, vertical and cross section of the road. The reference budget for the section under study was US$556,036.89 without I.V.A., was determined by volumes based on the different design parameters previously applied. All of these processes mentioned are tabulated to help your understanding and interpretation, as well as the design are on properly georeferenced planes.Item Diseño geométrico de la vía Pinllopata – El Corazón en el tramo 0 + 000 hasta 4 + 000 perteneciente al cantón Pangua de la provincia de Cotopaxi(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2021-03) Castellano Bonilla, Jonatan Raúl; Moreira Cedeño, Fricson LutgardoThis present technical project was to carried out from the Pinllopata’s parish to El Corazón in order to carry out the traffic study, topographic survey of the area and the soil study, in which the different technical aspects are presented to detail the geometric design of the road, complying with the regulations imposed by the Ministry of Transport and Public Works. From Sunday 17 to Saturday 23 November 2019, the vehicle count was carried out, which was taken as a control point in the Empalme sector, the count was carried out manually for 12 uninterrupted hours with intervals of 15 minutes according to the geometric design regulations of the MTOP. The topographic study was accomplished from Wednesday, December 11 to Saturday, December 14, 2019 where the characteristics of the terrain were determined by placing reference points by means of stakes and targets in order to capture orthophotos with an amplitude of 100 m on each side from the axis of the track. The soil study was accomplished on Saturday, December 14, where soil samples were taken through pits, in order to know the characteristics and properties of the soil for the subsequent development of the pavement structure, under the AASHTO-93 regulations. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2020) Yanzapanta Yanzapanta, Andrés Sebastián; Moreira Cedeño, Fricson LutgardoThis technical project has as main objetive to the design of four kilometers stretch of road located between the abscissas 16+000 – 20 + 000 of the existing roads that connects Shuyo and Pinllopata, belonging to the Cotopaxi province; directly influencing in the development of these populations and the quality of life of their habitants. This work begins by making a direct observation of the study site in order to determine the current conditions of the road and terrain , then the topographic study with wich we carry out the horizontal, vertical and transversal design of the road with their respective sections of road, volumes of soil movements, ditches and important points where the road will pass adjusting to the new design. In addition, the traffic study (TPDA) was carried out in a manual counting station located in the rural town Chisla with a duration of 7 days for a period of 12 consecutive hours, through which it was possible to determine the number oh vehicles that traveled through this route and the projected traffic in the future with the new route by means of the AASHTO method and the thirty hour. Finally, the cut and fill volume will be calculated, with which a unit price analysis and a work schedule will be carried out. Once this study is completed, it will be delivered to the Angamarca Parish GAD as a contribution from the Universidad Técnica de Ambato to the community so that the construction of the road infrastructure can be carried out, or used in the way it deems appropriate.
