Item Diseño geométrico y del pavimento de la vía Silipo – Pinllopata en el tramo 8+000 hasta 12+000 perteneciente al cantón Pangua de la provincia de Cotopaxi(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Civil, 2021-03) Manosalvas Paredes, Leonardo David; Moreira Cedeño, Fricson LutgardoThis technical project was developed in the province of Cotopaxi, beginning with a walk to recognize the place to observe the characteristics of the terrain prior to carrying out the topographic survey and the equipment that will be necessary to use for this purpose. It was decided to use a drone for the topographic survey due to the characteristics of the terrain that has steep slopes. The vehicle count was carried out for 7 days in a row with a time of 12 hours a day and periods of 15 minutes, this data obtained was used to develop the project and determine based on the count the design and circulation speed and according to this the type of existing track (Class V). Soil samples were also collected to determine the physical and mechanical properties through the tests and determine the type of soil to obtain the thickness that the road will carry. This project is carried out following the norm of the Ministry of Public Works (MOP- 2003), which governs in our country as the Ministry of Transportation and Public Works, complying with this norm, the horizontal, vertical, and cross-sectional design was carried out, adapting the characteristics of the land, adopted speed and other restrictions that the norm dictates. Through the designs, the quantifications of the cut and fill volumes were determined, as well as a referential budget of the complete project which may be subject to changes due to the variation of labor indexes and unit prices.
