Mg.Sport is an element of social insertion and personal development, which helps to improve the quality of life of all people since this will contribute to the development of equality and social insertion, so that sports have become a facilitator process at national and international levels, encompassing all sports modalities that suit people with special abilities, making some adaptations and/or modifications in posture or with the structure of the sport that allows its practice without relevant adaptations, reason for which the present investigation is carried out with the objective of determining the postural characterization of athletes of Special Olympics Tungurahua. As instruments of collecting data, a data collection card was used to collect sociodemographic and anthropometric characteristics such as height and weight for the calculation of body mass index. In addition, the Posture Screen Mobile program was used to identify the postural characteristics of the athletes through photographs With the development of the research it was concluded that permanent training is essential for the development of sports and competition skills, since it is determined that the body mass index (BMI) and postures are not a limitation when competing, in order to participate in the Special Olympics the only requirement is to have intellectual disability, cognitive delay, have significant learning, or vocational problems that have been identified by a profesionalItem “Síndrome cruzado superior y su incidencia en condiciones dolorosas cervicales en el personal administrativo de la Universidad Técnida de Ambato”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Terapia Física, 2018-03-01) Montenegro Berrazueta, Doménica Mishelle; Peñafiel Luna, Andrea Carolina Lic. Mg.Abstract: Currently the work functions we play may be affecting our health, research primarily focuses on the lack of care of postural grooming and how it can cause painful cervical conditions, since if it is incorrect would develop dysfunctions in the sensorimotor system . Mg.The present research project is developed on the theme vestibular stimulation in the gross motor development of children from 6 to 12 months of age". A population of 15 children from 6 to 12 months of age was used for the collection of the Information was used the technique of observation and as an instrument the Nelson Ortiz Rating Scale. At the beginning of the investigation, an initial test was applied, which allowed the conclusion that the 15 children presented a level of alertness in the gross motor area presenting mainly difficulties in posture and balance. And at the same time these results served as a basis for improving the above. Finally, a retest was applied to these children whose results allowed us to conclude that the vestibular stimulation allows to stimulate the balance and to improve the posture, since after the intervention the children overcame their delay.Item “Actitud postural en sedestación en escolares durante su jornada de clases en la Unidad Educativa Mario Cobo Barona”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Terapia Fisica, 2017-02-01) Jiménez Navas, Yadira Elizabeth; Naranjo Reino, María Teresa Lcda. Ft.In this investigation we determined the position attitudes in sedestation in students during the day of classes, chose a population infantile pertaining to the Educative Unit Mario Cobo Barona of you take care of it of Ambato and its sedentary position is observed of a direct form during the period of attention the professor. Using a card of observation for each boy or girl that it contains different parameters from the sedentary position: type of position, position of the spine, support of the feet in the ground, crossing of legs and feet, support in the seat, use of the endorsement, flexion of knee, asymmetric support on the table, rotation of the trunk and position of the neck. A statistical analysis of the data is made comparing the sedentary position that they adopt children. The Children who were evaluated were with ages included between the 6-13 years. The adopted sedentary position with greater percentage is the following one: previous sedentary position (49%), raised position of the spine (57%), support to the bottom of the seat (54%), and flexion of the cervical column (50%). The children in scholastic age studied do not adopt the sedentary position correct and recommended by numerous authors. They appear differences in the sedentary position of the children of different courses which without a doubt is in relation to the dimensions of the used furniture and the use of the knapsacks on this which detrimentally a position vicious person it originates functional pathologies of the spine. Reason why the objectives raised in this work are focused clearly to an aim and with ascertainable results. In order to give attention to the problem one has seted out to design a plan of prevention and promotion for the correct sedestation.Item Relación de Hiperlordosis Lumbar en el Dorso Plano en Escolares de la Unidad Educativa Mario Cobo Barona(Universidad Técnica de Ambato.- Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud .- Terapia Física, 2016-11-01) Sánchez Sánchez, Carolina Margarita; Naranjo Reino Lcda. Esp., María TeresaThis research aims to determine the relationship between lumbar hyperlordoses on the flat back, in a population of 195 students from Mario Cobo Barona Educational Unit. The study was performed through an assessment in an observation sheet of each student’s posture. Then the data was tabulated and interpreted, and then sed to analyze and corroborate not only the influence of lumbar hyperlordoses prevalence of flat back, but also the inverse incidence. The presence of flat back in segments L4-L5 is more prevalent in children to both men and women from 9 to 12 years old. This conflicto worsens while they grew up, for both men and women. So we conclude that if it shows an alteration effects other compensation appears to keep the position.
