Mg.
The present research work was carried out with the objective of establishing the relationship between functional capacity and the deterioration of the movement system in people with low back pain, since physiotherapy professionals need an evaluation tool to identify the functionality of the person. with low back pain in activities of daily living This study was developed using a quantitative, descriptive, correlational and crosssectional approach, with the participation of 60 people who attend the Equilibrio physical well-being center (36 men and 24 women), with a general average age of 41.8 years (33 years in men and 33 in women). The evaluation of the deterioration of the movement itself that allows to classify in lumbar syndromes and the functional capacity by means of the application of the Oswestry functional disability questionnaire was carried out for the only time. In the evaluation of the deterioration of the movement system, the lumbar syndromes with the greatest presence were: extension 43.3%, and flexion 28.3%, in terms of functional capacity 54 people (90%) presented minimal functional limitation, while , in the relationship between functional capacity and lumbar syndromes, P values of 0.025 were obtained with extension, 0.03 rotation - flexion and 0.015 with rotation - extension. The study demonstrated that participants with extension syndrome have greater functional capacity compared to rotation-flexion and rotation-extension syndromesxiv that presented lower functional capacity. Furthermore, there is no relationship between functional capacity and flexion and rotation syndromes.

“Análisis de marcha en adultos mayores indígenas de las comunidades altas de Quisapincha”
(Carrera de Terapia Física, 2019-08-01) Mena Toscano, Andrés Oswaldo; Latta Sánchez, María Augusta,Lcda. Mg.
The march in the elderly with the passing of the years is decreasing noticeably, which is why this research project is part of the macro project "INFLUENCE OF TRADITIONAL USE OF CHUMBI IN THE TRADITIONAL MUSCLE DISORDERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE MANIPULATION OF CHARGES IN THE WOMAN OF THE ECUADORIAN SIERRA". In this way, it has been considered convenient to carry out the micro research aimed at analyzing the progress of the older indigenous adults in the high communities of Quisapincha, Ambato canton, Tungurahua province, so that it can be known that there is significant physical deterioration in the older indigenous adults. In the present investigation a descriptive, quantitative and observational study method was used that included 30 older adults between 70 and 93 years of age, selected from the communities of Putugleo, Calhuasig Chico and Illahua Chico of the parish mentioned above, as an instrument for data collection was used the Tinetti Test which revealed that the great majority of people evaluated go through a general wear in the muscle-skeletal system leading to difficulties inherent to aging and therefore modification in the gait.

Reprogramación Postural Mediante el Método Bricot para evaluar la Escoliosis
(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud-Carrera Terapia Física, 2016-10-01) Hidrobo Rivera, Mariuxi Patricia; Santamaría Santana Lcda.-, Gabriela Alexandra
The objective of this research work is to investigate the postural captor that most affects the appearance of idiopathic scoliosis, for this evaluation will be implemented through the Bricot method, which is based on analyzing, evaluating and treating postural captors postural tonic system, first captor: the eyes where the convergence of the eyes and the alignment of the bilateral pupil line is observed, the second captor feet observe that foot type presented by each patient, the third captor observed the alignment of the shoulders, following the evaluation It balance and finally the archaic reflex is analyzed. We worked with 30 patients with idiopathic scoliosis, men and women aged 15 to 35 years old, attending the Clinical Center of Physiotherapy Hospital IESS city of Tena. The research paper presents a mixed approach, as is the integration or combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches, first we will have a broad, contextual and interpretive research all-encompassing scoliosis and postural reprogramming by Bricot method for collection the information on a sheet of observation based on a structured questionnaire, which will be collected directly from each of the participants, and finally the results are determined by statistical analysis used
