Mg, Mishelts VanessaComplementary feeding is introduced at six months of age, because the infant's energy needs increase and breast milk does not cover this energy requirement. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce foods according to age. To identify best practices and enhance areas to improve complementary feeding in infants, through this research we hope to contribute to the promotion of healthy and safe feeding practices for infants. A bibliographic review of the literature of the last five years in Spanish, English and Portuguese was carried out, using scientific databases such as sCielo, Redalyc, Scholar, Elsvier; taking as inclusion criteria original articles, bibliographic review, systemic review and observational studies. Complementary feeding from six months of age allows a correct physical and neurological development. Early weaning can be a problem for child nutrition, since this can trigger malnutrition and anemia in infants, breastfeeding and adequate complementary feeding are crucial to prevent child malnutrition, there are several methods that promote the autonomy of children and stimulates their psychomotor development, promoting a good management of healthy habitsItem Alimentación complementaria con el método baby led weaning en menores de 9 meses. un estudio de revisión(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Nutrición y Dietética, 2024-05-01) Criollo Saca, Emily Abigail; Viteri Robayo, Carmen Patricia PhD.Introduction: The first year of life is considered a key point for the beginning of good feeding. Complementary feeding is the beginning of the consumption of any solid or liquid food independent of breast milk. The baby led weaning (BLW) method presents foods in their original form, but with a size according to the child's age. However, there are still questions surrounding its use as a complementary feeding (CF) technique. Objective: To analyze food intake, nutrient intake and the risk of choking in infants under 9 months of age fed by the BLW method. Methods: 8 scientific articles obtained from Web of Science, Scopus, Pubmed, Dialnet, Scielo, Redalyc, and Springer, published from 2015, were used to perform the systematic review. Results: The BLW method helps infants initiate CA with a wide range of foods while their psychomotor skills are developing. Conclusions: Although there is very little information on this method, it should be emphasized that weaning well used and under the correct supervision of both health personnel and the father will help to ensure good adherence to it and to maintain a good nutritional status. Mg.The following research project has as its theme " Childish music as a strategy for an adequate start of complementary feeding in children from 6 to 12 months", for which there was a population of 15 people, of which 8 are Educators and 7 are the same parents who belong to the CIBV "Dulces Sonrisas". In order to obtain the necessary information, there was direct contact with the population. A survey was applied, where parameters of music and complementary feeding are found, and then its application in the formulation and planning of a guide aimed at educators and parents, for an adequate start of complementary feeding using auditory education and music. It is concluded that it is necessary to develop an educational guide in order to give a clear guideline for an adequate process in the beginning of complementary feeding using as a key strategy children's music, to improve eating habits and favor the nutritional status of children
