Item Intervención educativa de enfermería en la adherencia terapeútica de adultos mayores con diagnósticos de hipertensión y diabetes durante la pandemia covid-19(Universdidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Enfermería, 2021-09-01) Cajamarca Chicaiza, Karen Michelle; Jiménez Peralta, Ana Lucia Lic. Mg.The low figures of therapeutic adherence have become a worldwide health problem, so the present research had the objective of applying an educational nursing intervention on the therapeutic adherence to older adults with diagnoses of hypertension and diabetes during the COVID-19 pandemic, through a quantitative-explanatory study, with a quasi-experimental and crosssectional design. The sample consisted of 30 older adults belonging to the Lions Club of the Sigsicalle Sur neighborhood, divided into an experimental group and a control group, with 15 persons each. Regarding the results, the experimental group presented pre- and post-intervention adherence percentages of 65.3% and 76.15%, respectively. While the control group decreased adherence by 1,48%. Regarding the first dimension related to the intake of medication, food and exercise, adherence increased by 12.77%, regarding the dimension related to medical-behavioral follow-up, it increased by 7.14% and regarding the third dimension of self-efficacy, it increased by 12.64%. In conclusion, the effectiveness of the intervention on therapeutic adherence is shown, so that the significant contribution of the educational role of nursing during the COVID-19 pandemic can be affirmed.Item “Cuidados de enfermería en paciente pediátrico con pancreatitis idiopática y su influencia en la calidad de vida”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato - Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud - Carrera de Enfermería, 2018-04-01) Clavijo Gallegos, Angie Teresa; Gavilanes Fray, Verónica del Pilar Lcda. Mg.Pancreatitis is an atypical pathology in children, which is why it represents a diagnostic challenge for the entire health team. Although the majority of cases of pancreatitis in adults is caused by gallstone and exaggerated alcohol intake, the etiology for pancreatitis in children is varied. That is why in young patients it is necessary to suspect hereditary, infectious or traumatic causes. Our objective is to analyze the specific causes of pancreatitis disease in relation to nursing care through a literature review and clinical history. This present analysis is a quasi-experimental research of community testing, which allowed to establish contact with the reality of the patient, conducting a direct interview, review of documentation, books, scientific articles and clinical history. It was carried out with the purpose of identifying the influence of the nursing team in the prevention and promotion of health in nursing care in patients with Pancreatitis. During the development of this work we could see a patient who does not have a good quality of life, identified several risk factors and some critical points. The HIV virus early dates from the 80s, when several cases of pneumonia and Kaposi's sarcoma, a variant of skin cancer are detected. Mg.This analysis of clinical case of pulmonary tuberculosis is made taking into account that in recent years has become one of the most worrying in the public health and one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide diseases, where one of civil and political rights is the right to life and personal integrity. This work is detailed information of the patient 34 years old, humble, simple, suffering progressive loss of weight and appetite was gradually progressing month, plus an extreme weakness preventing him from performing everyday activities, becoming a dependent on another person. In the same way you try with this study to establish which is the genesis of this condition, to this reality is very important research of this nature generate scientific knowledge that supports and as a basis for future research to achieve deeper into the issue; since these complications not only impairs the quality of life of an individual and his family, but also involve economic and emotional background. Information was collected from the beginning of the disease to date, the disease progression is detailed, complete an evaluation of nursing interventions is proposed to facilitate the care and improvement of quality of life takes place, it has been linked with a nursing theorist to expand knowledge according to the needs. A descriptive methodology was used in this work because it allowed to make contact with reality to observe, describe, and control, the purpose of this is to formulate new approaches and providing quality care and warmth, identifying critical points and factors risk attributed to trigger the disease.
