Esp., Arroba, RuthThe development of the present clinical case is titled: "SPASTIC PARAPARESIA BY SPINAL VASCULAR ALTERATION" the same one that refers to a patient of four years nine months of age, female sex, settled in the city of Quito. Among his personal pathological antecedents we found that he was born prematurely at thirty-five weeks of gestation due to acute fetal distress. The initial evaluation shows that the infant nation within normal ranges and was admitted to the term crib with a diagnosis of enterocolitis. The patient was referred several times to the hospitalization area. Up to six months the child has a seemingly normal development as time goes by they presented different areas of delay. At three years six months the patient is evaluated again presenting several cerebellar alterations. Different medical diagnoses were issued, finally after completing several complementary examinations, it was concluded that the infant has spastic cerebral palsy due to hyperbilirubinemia. Currently the patient goes to the physiotherapy service where they treat their physical deficiencies
