Mg.Sport is an element of social insertion and personal development, which helps to improve the quality of life of all people since this will contribute to the development of equality and social insertion, so that sports have become a facilitator process at national and international levels, encompassing all sports modalities that suit people with special abilities, making some adaptations and/or modifications in posture or with the structure of the sport that allows its practice without relevant adaptations, reason for which the present investigation is carried out with the objective of determining the postural characterization of athletes of Special Olympics Tungurahua. As instruments of collecting data, a data collection card was used to collect sociodemographic and anthropometric characteristics such as height and weight for the calculation of body mass index. In addition, the Posture Screen Mobile program was used to identify the postural characteristics of the athletes through photographs With the development of the research it was concluded that permanent training is essential for the development of sports and competition skills, since it is determined that the body mass index (BMI) and postures are not a limitation when competing, in order to participate in the Special Olympics the only requirement is to have intellectual disability, cognitive delay, have significant learning, or vocational problems that have been identified by a profesional
