    This Study and Analysis of Clinical Case is done in order to analyze the intervention and nursing care in a patient with open fracture of tibia and its complications such as pulmonary embolism and nosocomial pneumonia, by collecting data with instruments structured to identify the main critical points and establish opportunities focused on improving nursing care that help to improve the quality of life, and more of it will serve as a starting point to other future research. The current annual global incidence of open fractures of the long bones has been estimated at 11.5 per 100 000 people with 40% lower extremities presentation, and commonly in the tibial shaft. Exposed fractures and multiple injuries are mostly caused by accidents, most are men 3 to 1 and the age range is between 15 and 80 years; among the most common complications include wound infections and disorders consolidation In this case a 23-year-old admitted to emergency for a motorcycle accident, presenting a blow on the left leg which is diagnosed with a fractured tibia being operated immediately, while in the house occurs health begins to feel signs that alert staff as dyspnea, chest pain among others, he performed laboratory studies throwing a pulmonary embolism, which is treated but weeks later begins with other symptoms that determines who has pneumonia suspected acquired in Hospital. The data presented in this paper were obtained by clinical history and direct interview with the patient. It is possible to identify different risk factors and critical points that guide structure a guide focusing on patient self-care to improve their basic needs and provide a better quality of life.
